No. Remember Founders? Lets not make matters even worse mk?

 

The only things that are exclusive FOR SURE are the Founders stuff and the Braton Vandel and Lato Vandel. Everything else is fair game to be re-released at some point in the future and it should stay that way.

That was what Primes were pictured to be, once-upon-a-time. When Frost Prime BP was announced to be an "exclusive event reward", we thought Primes were going to be these truly rare and precious artifacts that we can show off as medals of valor, and that we could put them up for auction to truly worthy buyers when "trading" was announced.

Now they are just proof of being favored by RNG gods.

Could you imagine though? If Primes were released in that fashion? I wonder how the game would be like now.

Lol so proto-armor will be re-released sometime in the near future? And it's not a terrible idea it's just, I want something unique and maybe not exclusive but maybe and event for a prime or something and a cool skin for completing the star map or reaching mastery 15

Skins are different from actually weapons. Weapons in warframe help you fight and add to your mastery and can be a persons prized possession if formad enough times. A weapon in warframe can be something truly special, and should be available to everyone at some point (aside from those mentioned above).

 

Skins are just skins, they do not add anything new to gameplay, sure they can make you look cool and stuff. But its not going to effect your gameplay if you don't get a certain skin.

and event for rewarding a prime as the top prize will never happen , thats silly talk , lets just keep it to something basic really , weapons i can understand considering they can be produced but its not like primes or any other warframes are mass produced in an way , sure by tenno but there not supplying the lotus with them are they ? and im sure corpus and grineer dont mass manufacture them because we would have had a challenge by now from them

 

main point a weapon or a scarf or something cosmetic looking aside form the badges or that other crappy badge that looks like its just a vacuum with pretty lights etc etc

 

warframes is something you work harder for meanwhile primes is something that you grind for hoping that RNG gods like you that specific day

You have to have creative ideas, being realistic isn't the point it's the forums I know what I'm asking for is a fools dream just like most posts but atleast some design differences others than color sheesh I'm starting to feel like I'm twins with everyone I share the same warframe's with....only goal is mastery 15 and I just want a fresh unexpected idea to happen

Helmets, skins and scyadanas aren't enough for you? I think I remember them talking about implementing armour modifiers similar to Sentinel parts soon.

As for one time only Warframes, heeeeell naw! It's not a fresh, new or good idea. It's a rotten old bad one.

Seriously it's been discussed to death and shot down every time.

We should get a prime event, a hunt in the orokin or something unique for a certain amount of time. It would be great to get a prime or weapon that you can never get again.

Nah, you just need to word it properly next time, and make some potential suggestions/supporting factors to elaborate on what you mean. Otherwise, they will just read the first post and assume the worst.

Actually only the founder's items are CONFIRMED exclusives. The landal and brandal can and probably will come back at some point. Deal with it.

Who would be against a merit based system? But said system is much harder to design than alternatives. I don't know that in my over 20 years of gaming that I've ever seen such a system working in practice.

Warframe already has far too much "exclusive" stuff for a game that's just a year into open beta.

Sort of true. We can go without for a while.

 

On another note; for people who want to recycle exclusives, I bet you don't have every weak weapon in the game. Why make a ceremonial weapon, unceremonial, when they have little more than swag going for them? Take away the swag and there's just another weak weapon. I'm happy people take pride in their milestone gear. 

 

When it is time for a new exclusive, I'd rather have a new one anyway. DE needs help thinking of another way to get people to do events though.
