I think its his shoulders pads and, well, armored build that makes it seem that way to me. I just had a random thought thay "wow the nikana is going to look the best on him"

actually Rhino isn't inspired by Japanese design... though ash's sleeves and Excalibur were inspired by Japanese armor/fighting... even though excal is a western blade in king Arthur....

agreed rhino looks better with heavy ax's hammers or even claymores... I suppose an uhcigatana could work but a Japanese mace would prob be more fitting for rhino then that.

I gotta disagree, I think a large odachi would fit him well. Not something like a skana though

The only thing making him a samurai is the vanguard helmet. Equip any other and you'll notice.

However, with vanguard on he will probably look good with Nikana.
