Seriously Though, Why Is The Trade System And Whisper Ui Borked

Here's what I mean:

I want to whisper someone. I cant just click on there name in the chat though. I have to scroll to find there name or /w "tenno" them.  all I ask from this part of the topic is that I can click on the name in the chat dialogue and whisper or invite from there call me lazy but that's what I think

second: trade is a kind of the same. you advertise like a NEXON prick, then you invite or get invited to a clan dojo to trade. but...this is flawed in that A) its a lot harder for people to find what they are looking for. and B) people who aren't compatible internet wise will just not be able to trade (they just cant connect to host).  My thoughts. change the main trade system to a more stock market schematic. you search a item, bunch of peoples items pop up with there own various proposed trades. so say you want to trade your ember prime systems in. you select sell. and then list items that you want in return. if someone has a corraberating post the trade goes through smoothly or someone can come and find your post and arrange the necessary items.  OR.  you can just make all of your items tradable through steam like you did with the phased Vauban gear. maybe theres legal problems with that idk but it'd be cool If that could happen...just...hope that whole having to send in a support ticket every time a item didn't make it to the new owner bug doesn't happen again.

don't know about the former issues you mentioned but the latter I agree with entirely the trading system needs to be more refined....

 

putting a chat limit has helped but the some of the ALL CAPS SPAM FOR 40 DIFFERENT MODDS AND PARTS EVERY 30 SECONDS .... gets on my nerves both as a buyer and seller of high end mods as well as parts.

Invite function on all types of chat would be beneficial. Also, due to some changes /r for reply does not work well anymore. This is is infringing on general response time. Complaints about the inferior - and inherently toxic - trade system should go to Sheldon Carter who pushed out a trade system that was possible at that point in time; overriding the development of a much better one at a later date.

Just use a trade broker system like on For example Tera. 

 

Have a list of specific items and an average sell price. If the person is online then you can negotiate a price or deal. 

If they are offline then you need to abide by their price. 

If you are interested in their item/items you can whisper them at the ease of a click and then haggle. 

It's very simple to be honest. 

Forums is another way, but that can be messy as well. 

 

In my opinion a trade broker is an easy fix to trade channel. No massive caps, no Kickbot kicks, No spam. No price check on items And it will be easier for people who are not on at all hours to do their selling and or buying.
