Alerts Are Pretty Dull.

They're just regular missions, occasionally with a "change of plans" . That's dull. That's realy dull. I wasn't expecting some choreographed epic for each alert that pops up; but I certainly expect more.

Alert ideas:

-Reactor escort (from the tethra event)

-Interloping; Play another gamemode whilst two factions fight eachother and you. Like invasion but without allies.

Mad defense; Defense gamemode but run on a timer rather than waves. Meaning that the enemy will never stop coming

-Limiting; Player weapon choice is restricted (mellee, bow, explosive, secondary)

-Provided: players get given weapons

-One enemy: game limits the enemy unit type. Imagine an army composed only of butchers. Or an army composed of only napalms. Or an army of helions. Or oxium ospreys.

-Arena boss fight; That grate you fall through at the start; What if it was right next to an assassination target?

-Stalker/gustag/harvester sighting; 100 percent chance to fight the hidden boss.

-Tagteam-  Fight two random bosses at once.. Vor+ ruck or alad/zanuka+ Raptor. Lephantis+ phorid. Or maybe two phorids. Or maybe ten phorids.

Other things with alerts:

Increase reward offerings. Most of them are pretty poor.

Most likely not happening.

The sightings could be a rare alert.  but yeah, the oxium osprey thing wouldn't be high on their list of things to do.

With regards to the OP's other suggestions, yes!  +1, etc.  Good ideas.
