Should I Buy Plat And If So What Should I Use It On

I just started playing Warframe and i'm liking it alot. Really addicting.

 

Anyways I am not a fan of paying when it comes to F2P games. However i got a 20% Discount on Plat from the Daily Reward and i'm considering throwing $4 or $8 and getting some Plat. But i don't know what to do.

 

 

My current plan is to get the following Warframes

 

Rhino

Frost

Ember

Volt

Nekros

Saryn

 

 

I would like to keep them past Rank 30 but if i don't enjoy some like say Saryn i can get rid of the ones i don't want any longer once they reach Rank 30.

 

 

 

 

I don't mind farming for warframes or weapons. But if theres a warframe or weapon that is really hard to farm just to save plat i don't mind spending some Plat to save alot of headaches and time.

 

 

Anyways my plan is to hopefully play every Warframe to get their mastery ranks and then selling the ones i don't want when they hit rank 30 and free up a slot for another warframe to level up.

 

 

 

If i do buy Plat i am considering to spend the plat on war frame slots and maybe a warframe that maybe a pain to get like Volt.

 

 

What should i do?

Spend it on warframe slots and weapon slots, and perhaps a reactor on your favourite warframe, but thats about it. And maybe 1 Catalyst for your favourite weapon i.e: soma/boltor prime etc are good choices.

 

Because reactors alerts/invasion reward are quite frequent these days. 

 

Volt is pretty worth it, being 75 plat. 

 

Btw you can buy Mag Prime/ Frost Prime full set of parts for about 20p from the trading market if you look hard enough

If you enjoy the game, by all means by plat.

 

If you're getting a certain level of satisfaction, it's a nice way to thank the devs. If money is a problem for you, you could consider waiting for the higher discounts, such as the 50% off and I believe a 75% one? (Might have made that last one up)

 

If you do buy plat, don't buy anything you can farm in game, seriously. Buy slots for weps, slots for frames, then more slots.

 

Did I mention slots? I did? Good, because they're important.

 

I mean, if you REALLY want Volt, go ahead. But it'll save you what, a few hours farming, as opposed to ALWAYS having those extra slots for as long as you play. No brainer as far as I'm concerned.

I am a volt god. U must buy volt. Volt is perfect for corpus def missions. And great at all others.

You can always try to get a 50% discount if you don't like spending money.

 

Other than that start of with frame slots followed by weapon slots.

If you want more customizations get the classic saturated color pack.

Definitely buy warframe/weapon slots, other than that, you could unlock colors, syandanas, the new melee weapon chains coming in UP13. You said you didn't mind farming for equipment, so I suggest sticking to those things for purchases. Oh you can also buy mods (only buy the super rare ones) and prime parts in the trade channel, thats not a bad way to spend plat for those rarer prime parts.

Personally, I would not recommend you buying platinum. 

But if you insist on doing so, try spending it on colors, slots and maybe potatoes for your favorite Warframe and weapons.

Well if there is a 50% and even a 75% discount on plat i guess i can wait for those. Since right now i would get the $4 or $8 packs whereas with the 50% off i don't mind throwing in a couple more bucks for double the plat.

 

 

Besides by waiting i can see how man warframes i have by then aswell as my inventory, etc....

Meh, if you're "throwing in 8$" because duck it you got 20% off, I'd just recommend buying frame- and weapon slots. All the frames are relatively easy to grind and like said earlier potato droprates are at all time high, slots is where that 8$ gonna serve you best really.
