Quovander
Time to debunk these shenanigans. It's all in her visage. Her face nearly matches the same female Tenno's you rescue from their cells. She also appears to be physically standing in a VR room. Some say she's becoming corrupted because of a change in her voice. Common sense in the meta game would be to think that it was more of a choice made by the sound devs to enhance her sound effects. Think about it, she's transmitting messages to millions of Tenno at once across the Galaxy. I'd imagine the frequency would be highly distorted. Edit: The frequency also goes haywire when the G3 are onto you. There's some food for thought for you conspiracy theorists lol Edited April 8, 2014 by Bro_Z

OniDax
Time to debunk these shenanigans. First off, it's all in her visage. Her face nearly matches the same female Tenno's you rescue from their cells. She also appears to be physically standing in a VR room. Secondly, I'm not sure where people got the idea of her being an Orokin but if she is then there would probably be some gold panels about her because that seems to be evident with anything Orokin-related. Does she have any of these? No, not really. Unless... Lotus Prime *cough* Finally, some say she's becoming corrupted because of a change in her voice. Common sense in the meta game would be to think that it was more of a choice made by the sound devs to enhance her sound effects. Think about it, she's transmitting messages to millions of Tenno at once across the Galaxy. I'd imagine the frequency would be highly distorted. There's some food for thought for you conspiracy theorists lol Sorry, she's Orokin. She HAS gold. You're just blind. Leaked datamined text from the game (pre-U9 stuff, you can find it on google) shows that she existed during the orokin era and told the Tenno both to turn on the Orokin and to sleep in cryopods. Her texture in-game is the same color as many of the Orokin walls as well as similar to Rhino Prime's texture. Her "VR" room (which suggests she IS an AI) is the same as the windows/glass in the Void's Orokin Towers. Again, she most certainly has gold. You're wrong. OniDax
Okay so she's Orokin. That's fine, I can accept that. But as an AI? I don't think so. Rebecca let it slip, and the "VR" room you mentioned supports that, especially since it doesn't look like a physical room. The only shenanigans is you making this thread, in which you were wrong on several points.
Hixlysss
With the recent Proto Excal skin release, we can pretty much say Dark Sector is a prequel now. To which the Lotus organization was around in Dark Sector. So yeah...

OniDax
Directive Do you hear that my Tenno? The silence of tyrants who fell by your blade? Your sacrifice is complete and you should rest. The cryo-chamber will wipe away the unpleasantness of what has passed. When you are called to wake, it must be because the system is once again out of balance. Perform your duties then, as you have now. Until we meet again, Lotus This is what I'm talking about.
(PSN)Hooligonzo
That her face is the same/similar to Tenno captives only suggests a handful of things: 1) Lack of Modeling Assets; as much face as we're talking about and how often and how well we see female humanoid faces, we don't need that many face assets. 2) Tenno may be a cloned race, of which The Lotus may be a member, and she is one of/the female clone type; this does not preclude her also being an A.I., however. 3) The Lotus may merely be a symbol, a distraction, a courteous or deceptive facade for others to relate to while interacting with her, regardless of if she is human, if she is Tenno and Tenno is substantially different than human, if she is A.I., or if she is vintage Orokin working a master plan. So I can't buy your argument against her being an A.I. just yet, man. Edited April 8, 2014 by (PS4)Hooligantuan
Quovander
Not to mention all these "Evidence" are all backlogs of old documents from DE. They aren't canon unless they're implemented in the game presently. Anything can change in game development including lore. I mean, we never saw the Gradivus Dilemma nor the Cicero Crisis coming before their announcement right? Though I could be wrong on that one because I'm not as hardcore as some of you guys but if we did, I'd like some evidence for that. This is why I continue to believe all these theories are all bonk. BONK, I SAY! Edited April 8, 2014 by Bro_Z

Well, that's your choice, but you can continue to be wrong. At the very least, there's absolutely no doubt that the Lotus has Orokin origins. NightmareT12
Still Vay Hek said he could throw the Lotus into the sun. So either: He's after an HDD or she's literally wired to a computer. (Ever watched Doctor Who? Heard of CAL?).

(Ever watched Doctor Who? Heard of CAL?). I want a ridiculously over dramatic cut scene now of vay hek shooting a portable hard drive into the sun, complete with inappropriately dramatic music to go with it.
