Roxorium
Since Melee 2.0 is coming out soon, I thought "Why there's no melee focused heavy Grineer yet?". It would give some variety to the game definitely. I admit - most of the description was ripped off from G3, but none of them is a generic heavy unit, which spawns regularly. Here's my idea: A heavily armored juggernaut in exo-skeleton wielding Jat Kittag(it's a Grineer production weapon, so why not?). I will not show any sketches of it because my imagination is terrible and also I can't draw, so I will just describe him precisely ._. Description: Brute is the result of numerous genetic experiments on Grineer clones. Undergone vast mutations, his muscle mass has increased drastically but also resulted in uncontrolled rage towards everyone. Scientists have adapted the Grustrag Bolt to him in order to focus his fury on Tenno instead of his allies. Be careful, Brute is a force to be reckoned with: heavily armored and armed with Jat Kittag, he will be very dangerous if given chance to get up close and personal. Proposed characteristics: - Name: Brute - Height: ~2.2m-2.3m - The most armored and durable heavy unit - Melee only unit - vulnerable at range - Role: Bullet sponge, attention drawing and crowd control - Can charge at Tennos(with speed comparable to sprinting Loki) using his reinforced exo-skeleton legs, although at nearly straight line - Upon successful charge unleashes a powerful jump attack with his hammer, knocking down everyone in 6m radius and dealing heavy damage, otherwise he will: 1) Miss and stop, and slowly turn around giving time to kill him; 2) Miss and crash into a wall/object, stunning him for few seconds - His charge can also be stopped by procs like Electricity, Impact or Blast, and afterwards stun him for few seconds - Has two hit-point bars: one that needs to be taken off first with his exo-skeleton durability, and then second with his own health and armor. - Helmet have integrated device which controls his brain. Exo-skeleton doesn't protect it and can be taken down right away. Upon receiving enough damage(about 1/4 of his HP if shot in the head enough times, or if received high enough spike damage) it will be destroyed, making him fall into blind fury, attacking everyone in the vicinity, including his brethren. When enraged, his damage output will also increase. - When helmet is removed, any kill(downing Tenno included) will make him fall into a rampage, giving him health regeneration, increased movement speed and further increasing his damage, with these effects stacking after subsequent kills. Summary: Grineer Brute is a heavily armored melee tank that can be both extremely deadly if you let him reach melee distance, or an excellent ally(but unpredictable one). But be careful - if you shoot his helmet out while he's surrounded by other Grineers, he will easily dispatch everyone(including you!) - but will become unstoppable if you let him go on a killing spree! TL:DR: Warframe needs a complex heavy Grineer brute that wields melee weapon. What you think about it? Would you like to see him implemented or not and why? Is there something to change in his characteristics? Looking forward to your feedback! Trivia: This suggestion was written thanks to Grustrag Three and Goliath from Borderlands 2. @down: This is a regular heavy Grineer unit suggestion, not a boss one - but could be definitely adapted for it too. PsychedelicSnake
I'd like it if it was similar to the Hyena pack in that it was mobile. We have quite enough slow-moving bosses, and I'd like another one that can keep up. Besides, the Jat Kittag is a rocket-powered hammer; I expect rocket-powered speed as well. BiancaRoughfin
I was thinking on something like this a few weeks ago too. I kept imagining a Grineer Bombard without the backpack, dark gray color and with a overcharged Furax.

Blackout751
And that, ladies and gentleTenno, is one reason why parkour will come in useful - escaping this evil Brute.

Roxorium
I think I will give this a shot and make some concept arts. Don't expect masterpieces, but I will try my best :3 Edited April 9, 2014 by Roxorium
