I don't care who has to do what at this point.  Yes I know it's being held up by Sony. Yes I know why.  Yes I know some of you are going to rush to the defense and say patience, and don't be so demanding etc. 

 

DE: I'm sure you're doing everything in your power to make this happen (At least I hope)

 

Sony: If you seriously think that not allowing us to transfer so that we have to spend more money on plat through psn to play on PS4 like I have been on PC is going to work.  You are smoking some potent and highly illegal substances indeed.

I'm in the ballpark of around $300 on this game.  Both to get things I want, and help support it's development.  You think I'm seriously going to do that again so I can play with joysticks on my TV because you are strong arming us into doing it by not allowing DE to provide what was promised to us !? LOL.

 

Here's an example of things I plan on purchasing: Anything from U13, Rhino Prime Access, more weapon slots, potatoes, colors, skins, extra plat for mods, rushing build times....  Now I'm done spending money on PC.  I just don't like playing games on PC (except when something is ONLY on PC and it's my only choice)  So now that I can play warframe on my PS4 and DE said "Hey sometime soon you can move all your PC stuff over to PS4!" I was like @&!# yeah! Now DE says "Sony has to OK it, its still being discussed and we have no idea when it will happen." And what's more you can tell when they answer a question about it on Live stream, theres so much more that they want to say about it and how they feel but they CAN'T because they don't want to piss Sony off.

 

We the warframe community can tell whats going on here and this sure as hell smells like "It's not gonna happen guys".

Is this an angry rant? You bet it is.  There's dozens more players that feel the same way I do.  It's time to S#!t or get off the pot on this one ladies and gentlemen.

I think DE can do one of the two things right now:

 

1. Admit that this will never happen so everybody can stop waiting and decide if they want to keep investing in PC, invest AGAIN on PS4 or stop all together.

2. Create petition to Sony and ask players to sign up, so Sony will realize how much revenue they are loosing by postponing this.

I totally the only reason I didn't buy the ember prime was because I want my PC account migrated , and I missed out on that thanks to delays. Once I get my PC account migrated I plan on dropping $200 on this game.

Sony really couldn't give two shakes of a S#&$ what you say on these forums, you realize.

 

And DE can't create a player petition for this.  It's legally unsound.

Some one was saying in the PS4 part of the forums that Sony leaked that they will are not going to let account transfer happen...  Dose any one have any proof on if this is true?  As I can't find any proof one way or the other.  I for one hope its false.

All I'm saying is I have spent a substantial amount of money on this game and I sold my pc so I can't play there anymore if you want any more of my money make account migration possible.

I honestly wouldnt be surprised if it wasnt Sony's fault. I've basically given up on this game due to all the horrible changes this game has seen since it's been released (not all of them, but a lot). I mean, can we even be sure that DE is even attempting to get the account migration done? I'd love to see account migration cause maybe then I'd start playing again, but I am honestly doubting that it will ever happen.

There's no legal barriers to DE creating a petition for the players, so I dunno where you got that.

But to the OP's post; This has everything to do with Sony's policy and account migration and such is very likely to *never happen* despite any intentions on DE's part.

Consoles are great at what they do, but to try and cross over always works out poorly for the console crowd and often has blowback to the PC side of things as well. It's ALWAYS been ugly, inferior and a mess. (Console gaming is not inferior, but porting from PC to console is).

Console companies are not willing to give devs the same level of control PC platforms like Steam does let alone the level of control having internal launchers and such do. DE can push out a patch for PC and have it go live without any real barriers, console patches have to be scrutinized and approved which takes considerable time.

I do sympathize with you, and I don't mean to try to insinuate that PS4 players are less (seriously, the platform you decide to game on has nothing to do with the quality of one's character) and hopefully some sort of happy medium can be achived... I just honestly would not expect it or cross play to ever be a thing unless DE just *stops* updating the PC version for a month or so (which would seriously damage their playerbase at this point).
