The Dark Sector - Prepare To Make An Alliance Asap!

For some of you who haven't seen it : 

 

So, the tutorial for the Badlands (or now appropriately named Dark Sector) has finally comes out. It's, more or less, a 'start your invasion' things, with people helping your clan when you contested an area and you controlling taxes for said area.

 

Of course there's no problem in it, even the research for Solar Rails are easy. From the video, we can see that the materials needed :

- 1 Forma

- 5000 Credits 

- 500 Alloy Plate

- 600 Circuits

- 750 Ferrite

(This seems to be for Ghost Clans)

 

The problems are :

1. Building the Solar Rail

As you can see, building this Solar Rail is really hard. The materials needed : 

- 500k Creds

- 25 Gallium

- 15k Rubedo

- 15k Plastids

- 25 Control Module

and THEY ARE NOT SCALED TO CLAN SIZE! This means even Ghost Clans will have to pay this much just to get a Solar Rail (Small clans, prepare to make an Alliances)

 

2. Invasion style Conflict

You might ask, why did I list this as a problem? The answer is simple. THERE'S NO INCENTIVE WHATSOEVER (as it appears now) THAT MAKES OTHER CLAN MEMBERS HELP US. Just think about it. If this happens, small clans/alliances will get crushed by big clans/alliances no matter what they do since they lack members, leaving smaller but thriving clan out of the solar system

 

Seeing this, I suggest all of you to start making alliances now 

 

 

As for me? I'm still discussing some things with my clan members about my idea, uniting small clans under one banner

I'm not going to form alliances because I'm not going to partake in these clan wars. I'll build solar rails and things because it's part of the clan dojo, but other than that I refuse to force my members to fight for our victory.

Thx DiBBz, I'll post it there if everyone agrees (we're just a thriving Ghost Clan consisted of RL friends, so we usually discuss everything). My clan master is having doubts if everyone really will contribute so we're having some heated discussion right now

I admire the strength of your conviction, good sir. But if you have a small clan, and you DO build a solar rail (at 500 000 credits, mind you!), aren't you worried that your solar rail will just get squashed by some behemoth of a mountain clan and you and your dojo will be out of pocket half a mil credits?

You don't accept your solar rail (consider the amount of resources it takes to build one, then reconsider joining an alliance) being taken over.
