Invasion/infestation Credit Rewards Now Worthless

If playing boring and repetitive Invasion/Infestation missions wasn't bad enough, now the credit rewards are worthless?

Update 12

Invasion Credit Reward = $50,000

Infestation Credit Reward = $25,000 - $30,000

Update 12.4.4

Invasion Credit Reward = $25,000

Infestation Credit Reward = $10,000

If anything, they should have increased, not decreased. Don't get me started on Energy stealing Grineer doors, or Arc Traps... Update 12.4.4 is a real b**ch

People complained about not having enough to spend credits on, so instead of giving more things to spend credits on they nerfed invasions.

Just feel lucky that you skipped directly to the arc traps. Broken lights were horrifying.

PC has this a while back before you did, so we felt your pain.

I personally think DE should raise the credit rewards back up - Veteran players already get countless amount of credits from Void runs and newer players would be more willing to play with those kinds of rewards.

not hard to make creds.... made at least 600k today from the various invasions but I do agree 10k creds is a bad invasion reward. but then again the infested invasions could use their own maps and tilesets similar to the corpus vs grineer.....

100% agree

I dont do any of those anymore as I feel they are boring and not worth the reward.

Also, yes arc traps are still annoying and bad, no interactivity.

If they are for rusher or any other reason, they fail on their purpose, I feal it is still a feature just to annoy, and make you give up a game.

5 T3 void runs a day gets you more than enough creds for that day

indeed, now there's absolutely no reason to do these, heck today there was a invasion which offered me ONE WHOLE orokin cell.

i can get more orokin cells, faster, from rushing ruk five times. and then i also get credits from selling the ember BP's.

and if i need credits a single orokin void I gives me more than 3 runs of invasion

edit: and i can't play much so i've been thirsting for credits lately, been selling prime parts for plat and my creds are just dropping way too fast compared to before.

I would just decrease the amount needed to earn to 3. Its already a silly idea to do 5 runs just to earn a single reward and Grineer/Corpus Invasions don't happen as often compared to Infestation Invasions.. Why can't it be 1 run for one reward. Or at least make it seem like a real mission invasion where it isn't Extermination the entire time where it seems like you were truly hired to do the job.

what about giving players with high mastery a reward multiplicator base on the mastery because vetplayers still need countless cred for trading, modding, transmuting, crafting and so on this would be a fair advantage. But DE never understand this because they never playing with a normal acc with such awfull cred incomming

tbh it should be the opposite.newer player need to fuse even more than vet player, they need more mods, core, forma, blueprint, everything.Vet player have already the basic things maxed or almost maxed

I agree, I really do not understand why they changed the rewards. Maybe they saw people getting too much too quickly, but it does not seem like that was the case. Not to mention requiring 5 plays to get the reward means it has to be something good enough that the time sink is worth it. Still, PC went through it, wanted to change it and it wasn't so I doubt it will be reverted. At least for now.

i think they just need a time sink for the new players while they get some idea for a better endgame.by limiting the gold income they limit the mod upgrade capability and weapon crafting, thus limiting dps and survival in higher stage of the game.Kinda a cheap strategy imho..

This makes some sense, however I do not believe it. Mostly because, as pointed out, there are much easier ways to get credits. I suspect that they decreased the credit reward when they came up with the idea for Badlands - after all, they do not want to have Invasion rewards be equal or better than Badlands rewards.
