Solus_Ipse
I recently played an infestation exterminate mission on a corpus controlled node and noticed something - the elevator used in the beginning is exceptionally fast (not that I mind...in fact if possible it'd be nice if all elevators were as fast). But that got me thinking about the little problems I've had with maps - so here's a series of consistencies that have been bugging me for a while now. 1) Bypass doors in Grineer tilesets open at normal speeds as normal doors (they become normal doors). Corpus bypass doors open so slowly its possible to slide under them before they fully open (but they stay open indefinitely). 2) Elevators have all sorts of speeds with no clear pattern, even in the very same tilesets. Some Orokin Derelict elevators move very fast, while others, like Orokin Void elevators, move slowly, particularly the ones in the 4 button treasure room (where one must push the blue Lotus symbol in the correct order). 3) Corpus elevator button issue: in one particular tile found on the planetside Corpus tileset (Hades, Pluto has 1 of these elevators 90-95% of the time) has an elevator where, after you call it and the door opens, cannot be interacted with for another 2 seconds before you can use the panel to go up. 4) Similarly on another Corpus tile that can show up on Hades, which is the smaller, two story 'hanger' with two ships and two elevators - the elevator buttons can be interacted with multiple times with no delay, switching the elevators instantly from going up to going down. Weird. I can't really argue the elevators being too slow, but at least they should have some consistency, and the panels/interactive buttons should be looked at. Rokusho66
I know elevators in invasions were speed up during the gradvius event because time was of the essence for both sides. don't know if they ever removed that but that could explain the inconsistencies... internet connectivity issues along with bad hosts can cuase a lot of inconsistencies as well
