Login Rewards

This reward system is complete trash. For three days in a row, I have recieved "Shotgun Ammo Box: 0". It gives me zero shotgun ammo boxes. Nothing shows up in my inventory and nothing shows up in my Gear inventory. I know this is beta, but I can't tell if this is a bug or not. If it's not, why is it even possible to recieve absolutely nothing from the login reward? Why is it even in the code?

And even if this is a bug, the login reward system seriously needs to be upgraded. People don't get anything they need or want from it, and if you do it is an extremely rare event. It's nothing but loads of ammo boxes (which no one uses), exp (which no one needs), and orokins (which no one gets). Obtaining credits or mods or even blueprints would be much more useful. Currently, it's so useless that many players wouldn't care if it was taken out entirely.

1. Yes, you're right, most of the pre-7 day rewards are quite useless.

2. It's not entirely random. You can click on the reward you want to stop the roulette. It takes a bit of time and practice to get right, but once you do, you should be able to get the reward you want 100% of the time.

So I think the key point is to not think of the login reward as a neccessary part of your gameplay progression but as a diversionary mini-game which you can practice and get good at.

Yep! Getting the timing right take a bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes pretty easy to pick what you want.

It's just like take empty box as a gift. Yeah, it's a gift, but still empty.

Slot machine? Dude, it's a daily log-in reward. If I got a free spin at a casino and it gave me nothing every time, I would stop going. If I don't get anything from the log-in reward, I simply stop logging in.

That's the entire point of the daily reward system. It keeps people playing. Makes the players happy, and the let's the company boast about their active playerbase. If I don't feel like playing it (I have stuff forging, and I don't feel like using anything else until they're finished), I still keep logging in for the reward.

I have the 7 days in a row log in rewards, and they're still all S#&$ty.

Yea, these ammo boxes really arent that great of a reward... especially because them and the occasional 1k credits seem to be the only damn login rewards.
