Hosting Games?

So from what I am hearing this game has no dedicated servers and the actual servers we are playing on are each others pc's? Where is this stated in any of the writeups for the game? Here I thought the problem was my connection to their servers in Canada. So basically really need a super fast connection and a really good machine to get the most from this game?

Well, IMO, its a great thing if we play among friends, because there wont be much lag at all... One of the bad sides, I went to random rooms, and sometimes the host can be super laggy... Just need to find good hosts xD (Well, most host don't lag in my case) :X
