Cannot Obtain Energy (Caused By Channeling?)

Over my last two games, I've been doing a lot of melee channeling, and it looks like I've paid the price. At some point during a survival, I couldn't get energy in any way, be it from the Energy Siphon Aura mod I had, the energy orbs (they would just sit there, making the "energy collected" sound and not be collected), or even energy restoration beacons. This glitch also affected me in my next game, a defense. I was gaining energy until we were able to chose to stay or go. I was channeling when that menu came up, but I released the button for it, and I was still channeling when the menu was dismissed. Again, my energy would never go up again. At that point my squad had no choice but to extract at wave 10.

 

really hoping this bug gets fixed; I haven't posted on the forums before, but I felt this was serious enough on my end to warrant me going on here to report it.

 

Edit: looks like it was fixed in the newest hotfix; I tried duplicating the above, and I could still gain energy. huzzah!

I had the same issue, I seemed to be able to get energy again whenever I use a skill but as soon as I hit a foe while channeling the issue apears again.
