LGear Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I've seen people who lament not being able to destroy Sensor Bars when going Sword Alone. Well, actually they don't have to: I noted it down on the Wiki previously, but for people who don't know, Melee 2.0's parry actually allows safe passage through Magnetic Doors. Oh, you can also pass through Corpus Laser Doors using parry. Finally, you can also block Arc Traps as well, although your Sentinel will still take damage.
Wriith Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Thanks for the PSA! I was pretty bothered by those doors while trying to fiddle with melee yesterday. Glad to hear there's a less-clunky way of dealing with them than swapping weps.
Darkmoone1 Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 (edited) Ooooooo that is cool! Thank you for sharing! :D Just another thing that makes melee 2.0 even more amazing. :D Edited April 11, 2014 by Darkmoone1
Wallace24 Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 yep, that's pretty awesome, I had no idea! sometimes I just decide I didn't need that energy anyway, and run through. other times I stop and take out the sensor bar with orthos prime or jat kittag. but usually it's the former (lazy) but now, I can just parry my way through! thank you for the information! I did notice you can block arc traps, though
Feallike Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Thanks for the Info! Also channel before a enemy hits you to parry a enemy. :D (while blocking) For all who didn't know. ;)
raikien Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 :< Actually before this post I had no idea how to deal with magnetic doors at all and just let them steal up all my power
LGear Posted April 19, 2014 Author Posted April 19, 2014 Well, as of the recent update it seems like Magnetic Doors can no longer be blocked by Parrying, kinda a bummer...
Rawnrawn Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Well, as of the recent update it seems like Magnetic Doors can no longer be blocked by Parrying, kinda a bummer... Climb up the side of the door and do a wall attack on that nasty sensor bar!
