Using Codex With One Weapon Makes You Weaponless.

As we all know being able to remove weapon is a new feature. However did you know, having 1 weapon and using the codex at the same time is a really disastrous mix?

Here's how things went, I had a primary/secondary weapon equipped and entered a game. In game, I open up my gear and select the codex and realised I was "weaponless" after that since pressing F won't swap out your codex for a weapon. This causes you to be equipped with the codex forever until you die and revive. 

I doubt anyone would equip only 1 weapon and further more who uses the codex? (me) So I hope something can be done about this so that no one is locked into a "I have to die and revive" scenario. Spread the word and warn your fellow Tennos who you know loves to use the codex, not to equip only 1 weapon :) 

 

PS: Having melee weapon as your only weapon isn't as bad though since you are still able to quick melee.

Reselect the codex scanner; it should switch you back to your last used weapon. I've mine hotkeyed to Gear Slot 5 on "H" (Y, U, I, O for 1 to 4; H, J, K and L for 5 to 8)
