XSkull9 Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 With U13 came the option to leave equip slots empty. So I got a wonder. Can you enter a mission with no weapons at all and survive using only your warframe powers? If someone's willing to test this, I'd appreciate it.
Archistopheles Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Nope. You can take your melee weapon only and not use it if you're really that weird.
Braken Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Nope, it won't let you un-equip all 3 weapons. You HAVE to have at least a melee weapon equipped.

(had to leave melee on) The only thing i used was energy restores Speed to target, zapped him until he fell over, and picked him up. Its possible, you need Siphon as well has energy drops to do it (or an equilibrium build with Oberon/Nekros). It was a bitt of a hassle to do in the void, i think think ill try it solo ever again. tenno'd: you have to have at least 1 weapon on, but you can choose to not use it. or jsut equip a codex scanner Edited April 11, 2014 by ensignvidiot
XSkull9 Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 Thanks for the feedback. It's a challenge if I want it.

VKhaun Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 (edited) Even doing a caster type build to level my frames faster, I would bring the melee weapon anyway just for blockage. Plus there's the melee mod (They just renamed it, don't remember the new name.) where your spent power is stored as extra damage. That + channeled attack = nice damage for softening up something tough before nuking it. Edited April 12, 2014 by VKhaun
