(PSN)truelight4u Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 (edited) I'm sure this was probably brought up before and I'm not sure if this is in U13, but I was hit with a "why not?" moment. As I was playing with Volt and with a Frost Prime on my team I started thinking about the level debuffs we get when there's ice, the damage we get when we step on fire and now the damage we get from those new electrical wall mines zapping us every time we run passed it. I was thinking since some of the frames we own have elemental abilities why not have them give us a small buff that reduces damages by these things? Also wouldn't it be great if the reduced damage was a benefit to the whole team for having an elemental frame with them? This will help also against enemies with elemental weapons. And here's a plus side to this, if anyone is hit by a teammates elemental weapon or hit by their own weapon this will come in handy. Is this something already implemented in the game and I have not realized it? I don't want to seem like fool if this already exists so can someone please inform me. Thanks. PrimalMayhem Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Someone had brought up the topic of elemental resistances before. And DE have responded saying that frost isn't resitent to ice and boy isn't resistant to shock because there are mods that to that for you.

That makes sense, but wouldn't it be better if it were something that the frames had naturally?

(PSN)truelight4u Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 nobody even uses those mods, why do they exist? That's what I believe. Those mods just take up valuable space and I think it be better if those frames provided resistance not only to themselves but the entire team.
