Hi thanks for reading!

The Vermin is a pet based warframe that specializes in premeditated assault.

=====Pictures=====

Here are some hand drawn pics of her, and her pets.

Don't laugh, they really are the best I can do...

They're more guidelines than anything.

Okay here they are >cringes<

Vermin

Her default colors are green for color 1, gray for color 2, yellow for color 3, orangish red for color 4, and a red energy color.

Seekers

Seekers take after more than just your energy color, the same is true for most of her pets.

Leeches

Leeches draw energy colored plasma up from their roots before firing.

Predators

The inside of his mouth would be orange in this picture.

11ql3tc.jpg

Swarm Bugs

The swarm bugs are the extension to the rule, and they do not take after Vermin's other colors.

The red bits may change with energy color, but the black bits are always black.

Size Comparison

Its not the best quality but you get the idea.

=====Stats=====

100 Health 300 at level 30
100 Shields 300 at level 30
75 Power 100 at level 30
60 Armor
80 Stamina
1.15 Speed

=====Abilities=====

===Seeker===

(mod cost: ) 0/1/2/3.
(energy cost: ) 25.
(casting animation and effects: ) Vermin extends her hand, and tosses a small seeker egg.

This hatches in mid air and the new born seeker grows to full size almost instantly.

(cast time:) The animation takes 0.8 seconds to complete.
(can be reused: ) once the animation ends.

Vermin unleashes a small insectoid monster that will follow her until it spots an enemy.
Once it does, it will fly over and sting it dealing 100/150/200/250 SWPS 100%PC piercing damage instantly and 50 SWPS 30%PC poison damage a second for the next 5 seconds.
Seekers will only sting enemies that aren't already suffering from a seeker bite.
Seekers can use their stinger up to 2/3/4/5 times before dying.
If they can't find a new target they will return to Vermin's side.

"Vermin can't carry much energy with her because she has a very small power pool.

This skill is the perfect way to use up all the spare energy orbs before continuing on."

===Leech===

(mod cost: ) 3/4/5/6.
(energy cost: ) 50.
(casting animation and effects: ) Vermin tosses a small brown orb.

(cast time:) The animation takes 0.8 seconds to complete.
(can be reused: ) once the animation ends.

Vermin tosses a egg/seed that bounces off enemies but roots itself onto surfaces.
Once the seed takes root it begins to grow, it takes 6/5/4/3 seconds for the leech to reach maturity.
Once mature the leech will begin spitting an acidic compound at enemies within 15 SWPR meters of it.
Leeches have a fire rate of 1 shot per second and each shot deals 150/200/250/300 SWPS 30%PC corrosive damage.
Leeches last 15/20/25/30 SWPD seconds, but they will die prematurely if their 1000/1500/2000/2500 SWPD health pool is depleted before then.

"This skill is a lot more tactical than her other skills.

Leeches can be placed on the floor, walls, and ceiling making them a useful skill for deafening chokepoint."

===Predator===

(mod cost: ) 6/7/8/9.
(energy cost: ) 75.
(casting animation and effects: ) Vermin points at the targeted area, and a EC portal appears for just long enough to let your predator through.

(cast time:) The animation takes 1.5 seconds to complete.
(can be reused: ) once the animation ends.

Vermin summons a powerful beast that follows her and viciously attacks any enemy that dare harm her.
The predator is incredibly threatening to enemies drawing the aggro of anything that he attacks.
He has 300 armor, 1500/2000/2500/3000 SWPD health, and he will stay by Vermin's side until he is dead.
You may only have one predator at a time summoning a new one will dispel your old one.
He is fast and he can out run most anything, but if his master gets to far way from him he will drop what he is doing and return to her side.
His attack chain is claw, claw, bite, each step takes a little less than a second to complete, claw attacks deal 100/150/200/250 SWPS 10%PC slash damage, and 100/150/200/250 SWPS 10%PC impact damage, but bite attacks on the other hand are slightly more powerful adding an additional 100/150/200/250 SWPS 10%PC piercing damage to the mix.

"This ability is quite powerful, and very energy efficient."

===Swarm===

(mod cost: ) 9/10/11/12.
(energy cost: ) 100.
(casting animation and effects: ) Vermin raises her hand to face level, and slowly clutches her fist.

Small swarms of bugs seem to phase through the walls and gather together into one big swarm as she does this.

(cast time:) The animation takes 2 seconds to complete.
(can be reused: ) once the animation ends.

Vermin summons a short lived swarm of tiny insects that chew away at enemies within 16/19/22/25 SWPR meters of her.
The swarm deals 50/100/150/200 SWPS 20%PC corrosive damage, and staggers affected enemies every second for 6/7/8/9 SWPD seconds.
Dead bodies within the swarm will be consumed and replaced with a patch of eggs, these eggs hatch when shot creating a second localized swarm in a small 5 meter radius that lasts for an additional 6/7/8/9 SWPD seconds.
The cycle can continue as long as there are bodies to feed the swarms.
The damage from multiple swarms can not stack.

"This skill is mostly used in tight spots to get you, and possibly your pets, out of a dangerous situation.

But like all of her skills it can be used to prepare for an upcoming conflict."

=====Lore=====

The Vermin was once a powerful warframe, but it was destroyed during the long and bloody Old War.

And now the Lotus intends to recreate the Vermin in secret, using leftover Orokin tech that was found buried beneath the canopy of Earth.

The Lotus has tried to keep this information hidden as best as she can, but Grineer detective Pyluck is getting dangerously close to the truth.

If the Grineer discover the existence of the project, then they'll stop at nothing to make sure that this powerful weapon is once again lost to time.

I can already imagine its abilities.... Sounds actually pretty cool. The drawing also gives your idea a viewable form, which is more than many others can!

I like the idea though you should change the animation on her ult, there are alot of Warframes that use that animation and its getting old.

Overall its prety good, wonder if she will have special interactions whit the Kubrow and otherpets we may have abiable.

Hi. After some thinking and tinkering, I want to present a version of Vermin more Wareframe-ish. I know I stray from the original artwork in the OP, but this is my vision of her.

Feedback? Hit me! XD

Hey look what I found!

s5l4qh.jpg

It's pyluck's note!

I wrote this like a year ago.

lol I thought I lost this!

Oh! And it's still basically relevant... except this rogue character...

lol he is so lame and random XD

You know what?

I think I'll remake this (without the rogue of course lol) and add it to the OP.

If you are too lazy to translate it here is what it says.

My Queens
I regret to inform you that I have confirmed the reports of a powerful new Warframe. As you well know I have been tracking this rumor for some time now and I was beginnin to think it was all an elaborate hoax.
when I stumbled upon a ransacked corpus ship, orbiting Neptune and that is where I saw the vermin, a single tenno commanding a small army of monsters
I wish i could claim credit for killing the $#*(@, but that must go to a rogue tenno.
He just appeared out of nowhere, shooting the pests with an explosive sidearm, the gray flame incinerated the bugs but left me unharmed.
the sound of shredding flesh filled my ears, as the vermin fell to the rogues daggers.
after the last cries of pain went silent, he turned to me and said “shunned from the light, the lotus shall wither and die in the darkness it has created.” before vanishing in a flash of soft gold light.
I am requesting permission to investigate this... rogue, he may be a valuable ally against the tenno threat.

From Grineer detective Pyluck.

Yes he used a swear word because it was in character for him to do so.

Please note that I myself would never do such a thing.

And his character was latter changed to be less vulgar.

Funny thing is , I was doing a model that I felt might suit vermin. Deoends on just how organic looking it should be.

Ill see if I can't produce something semi-decent.

Awesome.

Just remember that (like Excalibur's horn) Vermin's ears and muzzle are some of her major defining features.

Mm I know. Just how would these look though in 3D if you had your way?

Like fins, wings close to the body?

And the "hair" crest in the back, could these look like intertwined leafes?

Will do three experiments based ariund the facemask muzzle.

I really like this frame idea, surprised it has not gotten more attention.

i like your idea the only thing i don't like is its mostly pet spawns for (her?) powers i'd like her a whole lot more if there was only one spawn skill that either dose all of them or randomly one of them and she has skills of her own like a buff that cover her and the ground in brambles that steals health or she can extend her arms like whips adding distance to her melee

over all a good idea

i think her stats should include high health average armor and low shields with a susceptibility to fire

Despite common belief she is not a "plant" frame she is (by name and nature) a PET frame.

She is a squishy summoner that hides behind her army to stay alive.

Remember this?

It took me a little while, but I found it again.

1: The main part of her mask has a texture similar to bone, and there are straps or spikes on her boot that are made of the same material.

2: The feathers on her ears and eyebrows are rather stiff, and are more like shards of flattened metal.

3: Her eyes are supposed to look like thousands of black metal/chitinous/bone like cords sort of like whales teeth, woven into these cords are small shining marbles/sparkles that glow brightly.

4: Her coat and boots look like leather or animal skin.

5: The buttons on her coat, and the claws on her hands and feet are both made of a softly glowing glass like material.

6: Her main body is made of the same flexible metal that Excalibur is made of.

7: Her signature slash marks actually indent and look kinda like scars or scratches.

Ah yes. Shards of steely flattened metal it is. Either like feathers or leaves I think would be good.

Like my drawing, I'll show you and see how it corresponds to your vision.
