How Does Melee 2.0 Work With Controllers?

I mainly play with a controller and I haven't had a chance to play update 13 yet and I was just wondering if any of you fellow Tenno out there can tell me if it is difficult to or not much different to use a controller for the new system.

During the Devstream they said it was wonderful on a controller, but you can only try it for yourself and see.

Just think of how you use to melee, but instead of being able to aim down sites and shoot, you instead channel and guard. Other then that no difference, stances aside. I personally think the combos would be more simple if you're accustomed to a controller :D
