Elimination Missions Have Awkward Bit At The End When Everyone's Dead.

A suggestion; elimination missions are the only mission with no respawning enemies. This lets you approach them in a unique way, but it also means that the end of the mission is very tedious, as you run through emptied corridors to get to your escape pod.

Instead, I propose an alternate; elimination missions now require you to eliminate four or five targets on the map, in various rooms. The focus on these missions will be stealth; it should be possible to ghost these missions, but you could play them like current elimination missions (only with normally-respawning enemies once you'd finished the targets).

As a replacement for the current elimination missions, I recommend Endless Elimination; like the defense missions, but no cryopod to protect.

this would mean you need to have a huge or endless map.

Why would it mean that? Just ramp up the number of normal enemy spawns on the conventional maps. If you really need to, just lock a large number of doors and have them unlock to allow spawned enemies through.

Alternate proposition to the proposition of the OP:

Since Assassination missions are already a mission type, the Eliminate All type could be more like Splinter Cell: Conviction's "Deniable Ops" mode. You have to take out a certain number of enemies to access the next part of the ship or base. If you're detected, reinforcements will be called in and you'll have to deal with them too. That way, stealthy play can be rewarded as well as rewarding the killing of all enemies by a more aggressive player going for loot drops.

Possibly have the whole map open and there would be enemies gradually spawning throughout the map with Lotus alerting you to them. Maybe like an "invasion" type of mode where you have to protect the ship/asteroid/orokin artifact from enemies everywhere for a specific amount of time, like the mobile defence missions, whereas here, you really have to be mobile :P
