Difference Between Parry And Reflex Guard?

Question

Posted

So Parry increases gives you a +96 Counter Attack chance at max and Reflex Guard gives you a +55% Auto Parry at max. with Parry, you just have to hold down block and channel and don't have to time it to parry enemies, so does Reflex Guard do that automatically without you even having to block and does it still give you the finisher option?

To parry you need to perfectly time parrying while channeling, it's not like you can just hold both of the mous buttons at the same time and it'll work.

AFAIK Parry makes you attack immediately after parrying, and Reflex Guard makes you parry automatically, without the need of holding anything.

Actually Parrying does eliminate the need to time your Parry, making it super easy to counter attack, you still have to press the melee key though to do it.

OK, so Reflex Guard does about what I thought, seems useful for when a melee unit sneaks up on you and you don't have time to block.
