Hi DE!

 

First of all, great job on U13. Great push to get a lot of new features out.

 

Now, there are some issues with the way Solar Rails and Dark Sectors work:

 

At the moment, it looks like all Rails are going to be tax-free to try to entice folk to use their rail.

A possible solution would be to make 0% not an option. And implement a scaling system for minimum tax % based on the number of folk in the Clan/Alliance that built the rail. For example: A 4 Moon Clan Alliance's minimum tax % is 10% whereas a single Ghost Clan's minimum tax % is 3%. This would help make them work as they are likely intended, gives smaller clans a chance to regain some of the capital invested and helps prevent large clans/alliances from always dominating the map. People would still be able to choose which to support, if they like helping out small clans, or if they like the fact that large clans/alliances will ALWAYS have a rail available where the smaller ones may not.

 

The Dark Sector missions being unavailable while the node is contested is a little weird. Why do I have to fight for either rail if I just want to go to the Dark Sector? Would it be possible to give an option just to go to the Dark Sector. This would also help alleviate the 0 credit, 3 Credit, or 300 credit pennies that are offered as battle pay. If folk can choose not to fight for either side then one of them will be a little more enticed to offer a decent battle pay.

 

The way the Bad Lands (is this what turned into Dark Sectors?) was originally explained I thought was going to be a new "planet" where multiple towers would be placed on sections and you could either fight for a tower or run the Dark Sector mission? I haven't gotten a chance to play just the Dark Sector mission (since they are all contested) but I truly hope you plan for a new "planet" on the star map for the Bad Lands/Dark Sectors.

 

Stance Mods. I am pretty fine now that I've found a few but it does take a while (Ceres' Survival and Defense missions are good to find Beacons and Stances to start with). It would be very nice if everyone got 1 free stance card upfront while they search for more.

 

Stance Mods. I don't know if this is for sure, but I feel like the levels in the cards themselves only affect how much extra energy it gives you when equipped. I would like to see a speed/damage/length of combo counter timer increase per rank up.

 

Melee 2.0 is a lot of fun. Well done and thank you!

I think DE needs to include the ability for alliances to give up. These stalemates that (IIRC) are just going to end with the occupant retaining control are a waste of time and resources.

 

I like this in theory but unfortunately I think all that would happen is that another occupant would contest the space the DOESN'T give up.

If the deployment delay was kept this wouldn't really be a problem.
