Warframe Utility For Android, Now With A Mobile Version Of The Forums!

For some reason, there's no mobile version of these forums, so I decided to go ahead and add it into my app, Warframe Utility. All of the pages are stripped down massively and compressed by my server, which means that not only are they more responsive on your device due to being implemented in native code, but they also consume a lot less of your data allowance - win-win situation :D

Currently, you can't log in to the forums (so no messages, notifications, Design Council etc) yet, but I'm waiting on DE to see if they give me the go-ahead for this :-)

 

TL;DR I've added mobile-friendly forums into my app, Warframe Utility

 

Other current features:

---Alerts (PC and PS4), including background notifier, and a homescreen widget

---Invasions (PC and PS4), including background notifier

---Damage calculator for your weapons

---Update all weapons, mods etc without re-downloading the entire app

---Mobile version of the forums

---Foundry (not connected to game account - just lets you set a notification for when an item has finished building)

---Hacking minigame

---Mobile version of the Codex (work in progress), including:

------Enemies

------Mods

------Planets

------Sentinels

------Warframes

------Weapons

---Feature that allows YOU to choose what I add/change next with regards to the app 

---Extensive settings for pretty much everything

---With notifications updating every minute, uses less than 1% battery and 3MB of data over 24hrs (average)

Just did some tests - in some cases, content is compressed to less than 0.1% of it's original size - THAT'S OVER 1000 TIMES SMALLER!! :-)

Just thought some people might like to know :-)

Hi, sorry for bring up a thread from a month ago, but it's the most recent concerning the app Warframe Utility.  Is there any chance you can remove the country restriction?  I'm in China, and I'd definitely love to give the app a try.

It might be out of his control because of some laws and legal issues, since as you might be aware china has the most strict internet restriction on the world currently

I thought I'd made it available in every country, but it seems that a few weren't enabled (including China, and other places like Lichtenstein), so I've enabled them, and you should be able to download it within a few hours :-)

Thanks for opening it up to us.  I've tried it and it is wonderful.  The only thing that appears to not work is the filtering.  I set it to filter anything I don't want out, but it continues to show me every existing alert and invasion.  Not exactly end-of-the-world stuff, but it'd be nice if it was tweaked in the next version.  Thanks again!

The filters are only for the notifications - the app will still show you every ongoing alert an invasion in the alerts/invasions screen, but you'll only get notified about stuff that matches your filters :-)
