Now that we have AI that can essentially perform like a Warframe...

It's probably time for the cryopod to actually have an army to protect it.

 

Edit: After defending the cryopod!


( This is during the Grineer Mobile Defense mission.

We leave it for some 'reinforcements' to take over. )



Be it Tenno specters, hired corpus mercenaries or Orokin type drones.

Whatever reinforcements you decide to implemen, reinforcements should:

 

- Hop onto the carriage with the cryopod.

- Defend by shooting at nearby grineer in the tile while stationary...


Extra:

- While they set up a shield barrier over the cryopod and teleport it to safety... or whatever lore permits.

So, basically remove the last tether that was keeping mob def as a "defense" (the single player who's stuck defending the pod while everyone else is killing stuff in the next room), and truly turn it into "ignore the objective and kill stuff for 3 minutes".

There's no relevance here.

After protecting the cryopod for however long... an AI team will actually look after the pod as you leave the room.

Right now you finish protecting the pod. There are still grineer sitting nearby. Even after you leave the room. This is the clean up team.

Ah, okay, I see what you mean now. In that case I'm all for it, it's just that you didn't make it very clear in the OP that this was after the players have finished defending the pod.

would be a cool detail to watch Tenno operatives mowing down grineer while you leave, or just sit there and watch them take the cryopod while killing grineer on their way.
