Cinematic : 

 

Darkness flowes ever closer to your ship as its passes through space. 

Drawing ever closer to the top of the ship. 

A tengly muscle grasps it , stopping it in its track and pulling it back as the engines flame short out. 

A light is shown shooting towards the planets surface , shortly after the Liset explodes and derbies start to fall...

 

Mission start 

Lotus :

- seem you got my message in time TENNO and safely made it to the planet surface.

- Tenno all over the system have have been attacked... But not all were as furtunate as you.

 

Lotus: 

- We need to know what we are up against

Furtunatly there is a scientist who presumes he dose . 

Unfortunatly how ever we lost contact with him . Thats where you come in

Rescue the scientist. 

 

Mission description:

1. You start the game with only your melee weapons equipped (no matter your load out)

2. ON the minimap locations appear where your weapons have "fallen" (can be found)

3. You are to recover your weapons before you can proceed to rescue the target .
Its neccessary to recover 1 weapon minimum so you can continue. (- as an added challenge)

4 Map will have infeted enemys.(lots and lots of them)

 

Once you have recovered 1 of your weapons a cinematic starts : 

Grineer escort the target (scientist), who has his hands tied, along a hallway. 

The doors opens only to reveal infested...all over. 

One of them notices the grineer and starts running for him, forcing him to open fire. 

Only to attract the rests attention as well. 

While the grineer are busy (getting killed) the scientist manages to run away and isolates himeslf on a higher peak/slope/etc. where the infested runners cannot reach . 

They start to sworm around him.

 

Lotus : 

The number of detected bio-signatures  keeps increasing 

If we do not save the scientist soon, the location will be overwhelmed.

Hurry tenno! 

 

If you survive , than once you reach the target you can give him one of your weapons. (that you recovered), Leaving you and him to make your way to extraction through the hordes of infested . 

 

 

Rewards: 

- Rescue rewards are being updated by DE (devstream 27) 

Additionally : 

- more STANCE mods (would be nice )

- infested skin for kubrow (if they finnally implement it :P) (rare)

- Infested crawler pet DNA strand (blueprint for clan dojo) 

 

THATS ABOUT IT !

 

 

Notes:

- The mission is designed to give the soptlight to the melee aspect of the game, for both new and old players. Its a place were you can have your fill of slashing enemys and killing numerous infested. 

- It is also ment to give a new/version "infested version" to rescue missions.

(-Its been also made to give insipiration to DE if they should ever need it.)

:) yeah, the main idea was to make a diffrent version to rescue ( alien overrun map. :P )

 

In a sense its similar to escape mission, in the idea you need to get your weapons,but thats all. 

Back when i wrote escape ,you had to contact the Lotus to find "experimental weapons.... " . here you have your own scatted on the map.

Here's what I think... To make it very unique game type I would get rid of the scientist rescue and the finding your weapons to a all out overrun infested mission in a circular map. This mission would have player worry about themselves ( not the the cryopod or life support) also it would have unique infested units only seen in this mission. This mission would act like survival rewards so you would get a reward every 5 mins. As an afterthought maybe every 10 mins there could be a infested version of a boss Ex. Infested Vor or infested Ruk.

Not a bad idea , but you should write it seperatly . 

What i wrote was for rescue :P . Ever seen alien movie ? imagine being there and having to rescue someone :P as a comparison .
