Increase Number Of Presets For Modding And Appearance

With the ever increasing number of mods/weapons/warframes/sentinels/etc, I'm finding having only the 3 presets of A, B, and C becoming inadequate and a constraint on both game play and aesthetics.

Issue with modding

There are currently 4 factions (well 5 if you want to count Tenno Specters and PvP) that we face, Grineer, Corpus, Infested, and Orokin/Corrputed, if a player wanted to have a weapon modified to deal with each faction it would go something like:

A - General/Balanced (A.K.A Corrupted)

B - Grineer

C - Corpus

D - Infe- oh, wait...

While its a relatively minor issue to have to go in and simply switch out elemental mods for each faction its a bit of a hassle and inconvenient. Were also going to be seeing a whole new faction in the future which will likely require a different load out to deal with as well.

The real issue comes when a player wants to actually specialize a warframe/weapon to different styles of game play, I've actually run into this issue with my Dragon Nikana which has these load outs:

A - General Use

B - Based around Life Strike

C - Maxed single strike damage

I have to attune each of these manually for each faction for each mission, not that big of a deal, the problem comes if I want to have a different 4th (or 5th and so on) specialized load out based around attack speed, or blocking as I would have to swap out the mods from one of my existing loads and then swap them back in afterwards, this can be a real hassle if the new setup is radically different from any of the existing ones and might actually stop players from wanting to experiment with different mod layouts once the 3 presets are established.

Issue with Aesthetics

NOTE: If you don't really care about looks and see this part as a personal rant by some fashion critic please just ignore it and don't comment on it "not been a big issue".

I actually find this to be a bigger problem then with mod presets actually as I like to have my weapon's/sentinel's appearance complement my warframe, this isn't an issue if you aren't big on appearances though I have yet to encounter a veteran player who uses the default colors for everything, I personally enjoy coloring/accessorizing my frames to a certain theme or weapon load out.

Unlike modding where switching in and out mods is fairly simple to adjust existing presets, once you've filled out the 3 presets for appearances it is near impossible (or at least very difficult) to simply switch out and switch back colors to create a new look for your warframe/weapon/etc while trying to memorize the colors you used before if you want to use that appearance in the future, it would also be an incredible hassle to do it each time as well even if you could recall it.

I currently have 7 frames, each one can have 3 saved preset appearances, I would like to have more but I can live with 3. The actual problems begin when I try to customize a weapon/sentinel to go with each frame as they also only have 3 presets, meaning that with 21 possible appearances I can have with my warframes I can only customize my weapon/sentinel to go with 3 of them unless I force myself to use a standardized overall color scheme for all or some of my weapons, warframes, and sentinels, something I have had to do for some things. This will only become more of an issue as I gain more weapons, frames, and sentinels.

This problem is particularly pronounce with sentinels, cause while you may only use certain weapons with certain warframes, meaning you can have a weapon that only needs to be customized to only match 2 or 3 of your waframe appearances, your choice of sentinel is likely far more universal resulting in having only 3 preset color schemes for something that is meant to go with possibly a dozen different warframes and their various appearances.

What I would like (a.k.a TL;DR)

In the Short-Term:

Could we have the number of presets for both mod layouts and/or appearances increased by adding 'D', 'E', 'F' etc (the more the merrier) preset loads?

In the Long-Term:

I actually would like to see the arbitrary number of presets replaced by a system where players can setup a mod layout or appearance, then name and save it and have it appear in a sort of drop-down list in the space where the ABC preset buttons are currently located. This would allow players to create an infinite list of preset mod layouts/appearances they could quickly switch between with little hassle. I've seen games much smaller then Warframe do this and it works very well.

Your suggestion sounds perfect and I have had the exact same idea pop up in my mind during the course of the game.  Having three mod presets is only slightly better than having no presets if you have more than three possible loadouts for a frame.  If you have to muck about with your presets, every time, you can't count on their consistency, making it so that you might as well just change it manually each time.
