Dear Lord My Equipped Melee Attack Button Option On My Controller Is Gone!

<p>Since the new hotfix (BEST EVER) I can only quick melee attack using my controller. I CAN'T MELEE 2.0 ( *_*) !!!! Save me o'glorious developers and allow me to bask in the beautiful development!!!!!!</p>

The problem is that the quick melee button only works when melee isn't equipped, whereas if melee is equipped, you must use your fire button, causing mapping problems...

yes but in keyboard config u can map them to be the same button the problem is that there is no option to map that button for controllers yet.

What I've found is that when I look at keyboard bindings there's an option for both "Quick Melee" as well as "Melee Attack" , whereas on the controller bindings there's only an option for "Quick Melee" rather than both for some odd reason.

This problem is happening for me too. I can't melee with and equipped weapon with controller.

This is the first time I can't find a reasonable excuse for DE. They put out a friday update and just clock out, leaving a HUGE bug out there for us controller users to deal with until next week. And i say deal with but really our only option is play without melee 2.0 or don't log in until the problem is fixed.

well that is y hotfix/updates were moved to Wends for this very reason...worst case we have to wait til Monday. Im thinking DE_Geoff needed a win and their part was done so I can live with that. I wish it could have been fixed earlier is all... I hit DE up on twitter they will "fix it ASAP" ~20 min ago

So I downloaded xpadder and bound my xbox 360 attack button to E.Problem solved for now
