Question

Posted (edited)

I recently learned you can only place each Clan Hall once, and thus had to remove the majority of my base in order to move them.

After about 2 days of doing so, I have come across a problem - I am unable to delete the Grandest Hall. Which I find confusing, as it is not a prerequisite for anything, AFAIK.

Does anyone know why this is happening? Or better yet, a way to fix it?

EDIT: It also has nothing attached to it that would cause issues.

I think the reason you cant delete it is because you have to much other halls built that if you were to delete it you would be over your Build "capacity" try deleting a few room to lower your "used capacity" in your dojo (try to get it to 300 or bellow,) then try deleting it. I ran into the same ptoblem when I was trying to move around my rooms. If this isnt the issue, then I would say fill out a support ticket.

Yeah, I thought that might be it but I realized I had over 700 capacity. So I dunno.

For clarification, when you say "nothing attached to it would cause issues", does that mean that there are still more than 1 room connected to the hall?

In any case (as I had experience with this problem trying to remove a garden even though I had built hallway loops to the rest of the dojo around it), the building system seems to remember where you have built from. If you build directly from inside the room, any room built that room are also considered "offspring" rooms of the original room even if they connect to the rest of the dojo.

The only fix I know is to remove any rooms that you have built FROM the hall even if they connect to the rest of the dojo safely. You can activate from the room you wish to destroy markers that tell you which rooms need to be destroyed to be able to destroy the room you want. Otherwise you can submit a ticket to support and see if they can remove it directly.

The only room connected to the Hall is a hallway, which is linking it to the base. There is nothing else.

I have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM on the PS4. I can't delete the biggest hall and I have nothing attached on the other end of the door. It also won't give me the opinion to switch spawn rooms. The biggest hall I have is currently the spawn room BUT I can't assign another room as the spawn room.
