How much is Iron phoenix, tainted clip and split chamber. From the last I heard it said SC is worth 20 plat, is that true?

Iron Phoenix usually has a going price of around 10-15p. Most of the popular stances tend to go for that amount.

Tainted Clip is... sadly not going to get you much. I'd ballpark it around 3p, maybe 5p if you're lucky.

Split Chamber is closer to 10p. It's not that rare considering G3 can drop it and the other multishot mods (and Natural Talent). It is pretty popular, but that's what I'd ballpark it around. 20+p for any single mod (barring event mods with can go way higher) is a ripoff in my eyes.

It is 10p?! I know a friend in rl who sold his Iron phoenix for 25 plat, desperation makes people go great lengths...

I'm not getting the point you're trying to make. Realistically, no non-event mod should realistically sell for anything higher than 15p because at that point, it's a ripoff unless it's something like a maxed Serration, Redirection, or the like.

One of the oldest rules of open market dude, it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Virtual products have no inherent value because you never take ownership of anything and have no property rights under the law and the EULA. If someone thinks it is worth 25p and pays that for it then that is what it is worth. Ripoff to you is value to someone else.

Just to be clear, I actually agree with you.

Yeah. While I'd never pay more than 20p (LS/Nat Talent specifically, 15p for most corrupted mods, 10p for nightmare and reg drops) for a mod, if I were a new player, just entering the game, after buying prime access, for example, so I'm sitting on a lot of plat, and awesome weapons but no mods, I could see shelling out for a SC mod to the first person willing to sell one.

Just as an example.

Fair point, since it IS a barter economy backed by virtual currency.

Still, most people aren't going to pay 40p for Natural Talent. >.>

It's a buyer's market out there. Whatever someone is willing to pay for it is good for you, if you don't need the mod anymore.

Seriously, if someone offers 1p for your tainted mag, sell it, because there's no demand for it.
