I don't think you like grinding because your complaining about it right now, why are you still playing, its a great game thats why. Yes warframe does get a bit repetitive but thats why they add new content. Maybe some one like you should take a break for a few months, get your warframe sabatacle (or whatever intel gives) and when you come back see if you have a new look at warframe. But for e it just never gets old, if it gets repetitive I just screw around with random builds or try and shoe horn my self into a 100 conclave. I think your looking at it wrong, you have to embrace the grind think of it and an excuse to to play yet another level. Thanks DE for making me be able to enjoy grinding. not when its this tedious and repetitive (as in EXTREME amount) comparing to some other game Play and be reward by RNG type TF2, Borderlands 1, Dungeon Defender (in rare case), Dota 2 (never play so i might be wrong), etc RNG can be done in many many MANY great ways.... just dont throw into a game as a 80% core thats when things doesn't end well which is also another reason people dont want trinity to be nerf (like me) cause they abuse her to grind out parts/material which they need asap if RNG permits them but even then doing it over and over gets boring. dont you think? but wait your gonna say just play the game and let it come. doesn't work with everyone all that easily (then again this is the internet) and many people will yell u want to quick grind do this bunch of crap comparing to the very VERY old warframe, grinding other then geting the frames (before void/OD) the game was about: login, play, shoot, kill, have fun, loot, repeat to watever extent now its just all gameplay of RNG (clan tech is just a game of waiting) invasion give reward right? and its 100% to get! grind wall which i dont mind but having say 3 things u want but doing 15 mission for it when its the exact same isnt fun what about defense, MD, or survival....? there is soo many shortcut method that people use to bypass and make easy game for guess what? thats right grinding again people yell for orokin cell to drop in void, which became a reward for survival (as i dont mind cause its "kinda" good) this just worsen loot table even more and i wonder why people stay forever in survival now other then the fact they have time to burn ive Thanked DE plenty without Yelling my Pants off on Fixing RNG which i shouldve along time ago since they kept ignoring it, its time for me to actual give my OPINION on the problem also dont call people selfish unless: "o dont nerf X cause X only X i play" (why your playing then cause really?) "this is too good to do dont nerf" "this thing is tooooo powerful that i cant even get anywhere near, it need to be nerf just so i can feel better at using a MK1 braton vs a Phage" etc type of things (those could be called more as whining then selfishness but i see it they want to have it done only for the benefit of themselves and not other, fixing rng is benefiting EVERYONE not just me. You have done so much for us and I cant thank you enough though you never get thanked it seems like. I know I made a post a while ago about how it seems like you never read anything but that's just because you don't have time to reply to our posts because there are so many to read. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about lets live the life of DE for a day. The forums get tons a posts every day and you all got to read as your commitment to the players to make the game what they want. Look up in the corner at the ol' inbox, oh here are another 14 needy players, what does this one have to say. "Um DE, I got an idea that cold really revolutionize warframe. Will you look at most post on reworking the drop rates of reaper prime blade blade I've done like 5 runs and it has not dropped." You pull out your phone and find your self bombarded with tweets "NO DON'T NERF TRINITY!", "I really think you should buff trinity" "Too much clantech", "I would really like to say thanks for utilize clan tech as a new means to get stuff and it give me more of a reason to use my dojo". You log into Warframe going to do a run and cool down, but your chat box is bombarded with messages. Ah just another day at the office. So yeah you put up with all of our crap, your over worked, under appreciated but you never complain and the quality of your output is amazing. And for those reasons, I can not thank you enough. The only other way I can think to thank you is by limiting the stupid stuff I post and decreasing the idiotic stuff you must read every day through quality posts. DE is a company making a commercial product, they didn't create Warframe out of charity and to make you happy. They're in it for the money. They don't need your thanks. blackhalo321 Posted April 28, 2014 Share Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) F2P = Grind which im 100% fine with it just how its was done which annoys me and in warframe case it does a hell lot when u played it for how long ive been or most if not all other Old Vets from U8 and much earlier i might even say this game almost has as much grind as any other big MMORPG type By aoe grinding to aoe grind more, I was more talking about the repetitiveness of combat. I've never cared much for gear and whatnot, only entertaining fights. This game kinda pushes that aside through repetitive NPCs and spam weapons/abilities that burns out most use for thought in combat... You think appreciating the devs will give them an excuse to stop trying to making the game better... that's just cruel... DE has done a good job, those people deserve praise for what they have accomplished. They engineered an MMO that blew all realistic expectations out of the water. Most F2Ps aren't able to get a fraction of the players DE has, a fraction of the entertainment that this game brings. I mean, there are a number of major issues that need to be fixed, I'd be the one of the first guys to agree and want to talk about it, but it's crazy to expect a new F2P game to be perfectly worked out. For what they've had to work with... they've done GREAT. If I'm praising them in half a year though... that's to be decided. That's unreal for a F2P game. It would be perfect if it didn't crash so much. I should say too that I don't mind grinding at all. And mater of fact most of these things are small and just boil down to personal preferance. Some like the challange while others want to perserve that cant be killed god mode and 1 hit kill. Boils down to personal preference? You don't think there are rationally absurd things in the game? There are numerous things that can be improved, and that's why people are raising awareness of the issues everyday. If you can't stomach seeing criticisms, stay off the forums. Don't expect the playerbase to blindly worship DE, thanking them and never raising criticisms. What do you think of Trinity's Blessing then? Are you one of those people who actually want godmode to stay? If someone says that the current Blessing is mindless, is it an empty opinion? Would you just label it as "personal preference"?
