Attica - To Forma Or Not To Forma?

Yes, I know the Attica is (currently) bad. I'm currently sitting on two forma and have nothing else I could potentially spend them on, other than building clantech weapons (no dojo rooms that need building either). There aren't any other guns or frames I want/need to forma, and despite how bad the Attica is statistically, I do like the feel of it.

 

So do I forma my Attica or save them for something else?

Not to, its not good enough. The attica needs to make up its mind wither to be a bow or a rifle. Its just a handicapped version of a bow for people who cant use bows.

Here's the thing. In Warframe, if you like a weapon, and it's not really the best, but you REALLY like it? Forma it. Forma is the easiest way to move a weapon from bad, to viable, and then to good. Therefore, if you really love the Attica, and want to make it into your main weapon? Forma the S#&$ outta that sucker. BUT, if you aren't sure, ore you have other weapons you like better? Don't Forma it.

I really like the weapon, and I would forma it if not for the dozens of other Frames n Weapons on my to-forma list.

But I'd say go for it, if you have to forma to spare.

The Attica requires 1 Forma to build. That's already one Forma too many.

I can't predict the future, but I was in the same position when Ignis came out. Long time lover of flame throwers in shooters and action games, but Ignis was complete TRASH back then. Forma'd the crap out of it anyway, and it was eventually buffed to it's current glory. <3

 

The trick is that any weapon can be primed (/wraithed, vandalized, dexified, etc). When I don't have anything immediately available that I want to do, but I feel like playing Warframe I sometimes forma Vectis and go do some of my exterminate void keys to level it, just because it's cool to use it no-scope like the old school Day of Defeat bolt action KAR rifle (now if only it had a bayonet...), but since it could be primed and it's purely a 'fun' weapon I'm not in any hurry. One day it will get primed and THAT will get lots of Forma thrown at it and be leveled fast. :P

If you really have nothing else to spend them on, go ahead. But you're not going to get a very strong weapon out of it.

Which is odd, since it's actually much more awkward to use than a bow. To me, anyway. Maybe I'm just used to the arc/trajectory/starting point of the arrow for the Dread.

Save it for something else. Attica is honestly not worth it in it's current state.

Of course, if you really like Attica then go ahead.
