Shields Totally Gone When Beeing Outside

So today i played some Pro Corpus Invasions, and i noticed that sometimes , my fellow Tenno and i ended up with

NO SHIELD at all. I digged in a bit and found out that it is connected to the outside part of the Corpus Ship Set, where

one walks in "space". If your shield drops to 0 there, it is gone for the whole mission, the UI doesnt even shows it as "down" , the Tenno has just a Healthbar than.

 

Is this Intentional? Or is it a bug?

pretty sure it's a bug if they don't come back. I haven't done any invasions in a while, so tell me, does your shield+HP bar go completely red (so it's all health with no shield component), or is there just a blank space where shields used to be (like your shields are just down)?

 

because at the end of survival missions you run into the same thing, but in that case it's intentional that your shields are gone. what happens is that shields are slowly drained after you lose all oxygen, and once it hits your health bar, you can't restore shields. I was running around with mag prime, so as I was reaching extraction, I could shield polarize my shields back up as long as I hadn't already hit 0. but after it hit 0, I couldn't regenerate my shields. this has always been the case, I noticed it a while ago when I'd use blessing and once you and your teammates' shields are gone, it only restored your health back to full

 

so I assume the issue is that if your shields drain completely, you're stuck in that state where your shields can't ever be replenished. and this shouldn't happen in invasion missions. probably

It's not a bug, but it is annoying.

 

That tunnel you go through has a beam of energy that damages your shields. When you get outside into space your shields will degen, then your health.

 

Basically your shields got damaged and then you entered the vacuum, where they can't regenerate as normal. Wait for them to recharge before jumping out there.

It goes complete red and the shield component is gone, so it looks like shieldless nightmare mode. If your shield is drained all the way while in space, it never comes back for the rest of the mission, even if you get downed. This has been around since invasions first started, but it's never been addressed at all. I'm still sure it's a bug, though.

Id say its a lingering effect from nightmare no shield mode (though even for nightmare it is a very cheap way to make it harder).

 

The enemies also dont take any damage from it beiang a vacume in the area either even if they would die a horrible death from breaking a window not moments before.

 

Please fix this, as it can make invasions extreemly difficuilt otherwise.  We chose to play an invasion mission not a nightmare one.
