Question

Posted (edited)

Good day:

after last patch (01/05/2014) i cant play fullscreen.

what this means?

well, if i try to play fullscreen the screen goes black, like its trying to configure the size of it, but stays black, i can

hear the sound of the mouse, but alt + tab doesnt work, i have to ctrl alt delete and get the task manager so i can minimize it and cloose it.

what i've tried?

1-changing the configuration of the launcher to wide, and in the game changing it to full

2-after changing to wide, pressing Alt + Enter on the game

3-changing the resolution of the game to match mine, (from 720p to 1080p) and steps 1 & 2

4-Restarting Laptop

about my laptop:

Asus N56VJ:

1) I7 3rd generation (ivy bridge)

2) 8GB Ram DDR3

3) GeForce GT 635M (2GB)

4) Windows 8

5) 1TB HDD ( i think this spec its useless xD )

many thanks in advance!, keep playing :D

If you have a dedicated Nvidia gfx card and an onboard Intel one, here is one suggestion:

go to into Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings and set WF to use only the dedicated GFX card.

i dont know if i have to choose another program, but Nvidia detected WF Launcher as "launcher(launcher.exe)"  and its assigned to Nvidia, should i add another WF program?

The launcher is just the launcher that updates the game and not the game exectutable itself.

You need to look for or add Warframe.exe or (as in my case) Warframe.x64.exe if you are on a 64 bit system.

If you do have a 64 bit system, then try to activate the 64 bit support in the launcher config as well.

This may or may not solve your issue, but it is something to try.
