Name suggestion : Infested Tracker

Behaviour:  This enemy hides, climbing on the ceilings and walls, and moves really quicky (I mean, extremely fast moving speed) for hit and run attacks. Squishy but hard hitting, it's the kind of enemy we like to be aware of.

Attacks:  It can become invisible for a 2 sec duration ; dash and pin us to the ground, harrassing us until it takes a little damage, then vanishes and flees away ; Eventually uses the "Silence" ability, shutting our ears down for 4 sec.

Environment restrictions: Prefers narrow corridors, but it lives in all closed and dark areas

edit : it's supposed to be a rare enemy. Maybe one or two units in one classic mission.

Name Suggestion: heavy charger? (not sure)

Behaviour:  a light infested unit that is capable of charging in a straight (or just barely curved) line at a very quick speed almost like those bull-type enemies you often see in games. The difference is that it is way smaller and weaker than something heavy that charges towards the player seen in other games, so you would often see these in large numbers, charging towards a player from different locations and blending with the general infested crowd (but also pushing others away for clear path towards the target)

Attacks: when in range and line of sight, this charger would start running very fast towards the enemy with minimum ability to change course. Hitting the enemy would instantly cause stagger or knockdown (depends on how common, strong the enemy will eventually be). The hit would also deal moderate damage. I think you should not be able to block the direct charge, the only option would be to dodge.

Environment restrictions:  If looks like infested grinner unit or infested corpus unit, I wish it stayed unique to that faction environment.

Name Suggestion: Multrox

Behaviour:  Multrox are slinder and weaker foes formed by the infested, but have been used to an advantage due to it's excessive cloning gene when injured. as one it's fairly weak, but in near death it clones a group of themselves making them stronger in numbers. they come equipped with arms in the form of different class of weapons.

Attacks: melee attacks very from whatever melee class their equipped with

clone gene [more of an ability than an attack]

host cloning: the host Multrox can fuse itself apon another infested to clone the one it takes hold of. [works only once]

Environment restrictions:  only infested areas

art: something like this but more infested like and slinder.

Name: Corruptor

Behaviour: Medium-Tier, Ranged-equivalent to the Ancients - engages enemies at medium range while lesser infested hold them in melee. Very quiet enemy to counter-balance the Ancient's noise, they will retreat if injured or challenged in melee combat. Prefers high ground to attack enemies from. Rarely found alone, always has either another Corruptor or several small Infested nearby.

Attacks: Corruptors (and any variants) attack with a long barbed tail, firing spines at a speed similar to the Attica at their enemies. If pushed into melee range, the Corruptor will swipe with claws, pushing enemies back and allowing it to escape. When at low HP (10-20%), the Corruptor stop all other attacks and prepare a bile burst, firing a high-powered shot at enemies that does AoE viral damage - it takes several seconds to charge up, but it will continue firing them until killed. The Corruptor also generates a slight Movement Speed and Attack Speed Aura for nearby infested, enough to counter-act a single application of Infested Impedance - this Aura does not stack, however.

Environment Restrictions: none.

Appearance: A heavily mutated human/Corpus, the Corruptor has the host legs mostly intact, but has a Scorpion-like tail growing from the base of the spine. The  torso has bent forward and over, the host's head is tucked between horrendously mutated shoulders, the tendril-like arms used to support the creature as a second pair of legs and a shoving melee swipe when threatened.

Name:Infested Bloater

Behaviour:Acts like a heavy disrupter that very quickly charges the player, rushing through his allies to get to him. This enemy can climb onto boxes and other objects Tenno can.

Attacks:He can ram the player if the player does not dodge out of the way.Next,he also has an AoE ground smash wich takes a while to prepare, for damaging entrenched enemies. Finally,if he is killed he will fall on the floor and begin screaming,in taht time you have to escape or be severely damaged by his explosion.

Enviromental restrictions:I´d like him to have a "Corrupted" counterpart, but I´d also like him to be on Corpus Ships, since I want him to look like a Corpus Tech

Name Suggestion: Spiny Hunter

Behaviour:  Similar to grineer and corpus humanoid units, Spiny Hunters are the 'snipers' of the infested faction and they shoot/throw spiny projectiles at the players.

Attacks: throws spiny projectiles from a medium range dealing mostly puncture and a bit of slash damage. Within melee range, the Spiny Hunter will swipe at the player dealing mostly slash damage with a bit of puncture. Both attacks have a chance to cause puncture, bleed, or toxin DoT status.

Environment restrictions:  None, they function similar to all infested melee units.

Name Suggestion: Infested Stingwhip

Behaviour:  Draws nearby enemies toward them to create a hulking mob and uses a whip/stinger tail which grapples unsuspecting tenno into the mob. Toxic, Distruptor, Healer and Cloaked. For added fun these enemies increase incoming damage received by their unsuspecting victim.

Attacks: Stingwhip Tail: Uses it's tail to drag tenno and other unsuspecting enemies over to the mob. It has a high proc chance to increase the damage taken by the target for a short time as well as a slight chance for a secondary proc.

Sting: Once the target is within the radius of the Stingwhip's "aggro" it starts to do a regular sting attack which happens on a tighter interval but does not drag the target closer to it.

Release Swarmlings: Periodically and upon death the Stingwhip releases between 3-5 Swarmlings. Think of these as infested rollers, do I need to say anymore?

Environment restrictions:  They can appear as long as they have ground to stand on.

Name Suggestion:

Infested Cloud

Behaviour:

These would largely replace the strange cloud particle effects you see on infested maps. Infested clouds are high density clouds of the technocyte virus. These clouds float about the area looking to spread the virus to any living organisms. They move about fairly slowly as they lie mostly dormant until they find something to infect, however once they sense a living organism they move very quickly, flying at high speed to reach their target and infect them. Additionally they may hide in the flesh that grows on the tile sets - only bursting forth when a living organism gets near.

Attacks:

Upon sensing a non-infested lifeform, the cloud will quickly swarm the target dealing high toxic damage over time and obscuring the vision of the target for the duration. While a player is attacked their ranged weapons are largely ineffective against the cloud. However quick use of melee can temporarily disperse the cloud giving the player a chance to breathe before the cloud reforms itself and attacks again. These clouds can also hide amongst the environment, waiting until a player passes by before erupting forth and quickly swarming the target.

Environment restrictions: The virus has problems handling cold climates and thus is non-existent on maps with ice.

Name

Infested Blackguard

Behaviour

Slowly walks about, when spotting an enemy, it will face its carapace towards the target and slowly walk towards them. It switches to melee stance within melee range, which opens it carapace up to attack.

Carapace: Has a massive shield-like carapace on its front as thick as two grineer shields, its back is vulnerable. The carapace has x4 the HP of the creature in the form of Ferrite Armor. The creature itself has regular infested flesh.

Attacks

Viral Spines: When spotting an enemy it releases dart-like spines that stick to the target and deals low Viral Damage each second for up to 30 seconds or until rolled off, shoots a burst round of 6 spines with a 3 second 'reload'

Tendril Strike: When within melee range, the shield opens up and reveals 2 tendrils that attack the target in melee range, they cause high poison damage upon touching the target and knocks the target down.

Environment restrictions

No, it can move as any infested, but it has 50% movement speed of a runner.

Appearance

Appears as an infested grineer that has two large carapace shields across its arms, it has black flesh with a sickly green highlights, the carapace is darker color. When enough damage is caused, the carapace bursts off, leaving the creature vulnerable. It has two legs that move slowly and two tendrils under its arms. These tendrils fire the viral spines and attack in melee.

I think we need something more plant-like, while giving the Orokin Derelicts more identity and uniqueness.

Name Suggestion: Nepenthes

Behaviour: The Nepenthes is formed from the prolonged(see advanced mutation state of Lephantis and Ancients) mutation of ornamental plants in Void ships by the Technocyte Virus. A pitcher-like structure that is also its namesake forms its main body, with tendrils(roots or adaptive hunting appendages) protruding from it.

Attacks: The Nepenthes pitcher can regurgitate corrosive acid as a sludge bomb attack, but its main methods of attacking are with the tendrils that grow from it. These tendrils can whip at their prey or erupt from beneath the ground, as the roots of this invasive plant penetrate into the structure of the Orokin Derelict ships. The lashing attacks may deal Impact damage while the subterranean spike attacks may Puncture. In addition, the Nepenthes may lay some of its sprawling roots loosely on the ground as a trap, and taughten them to trip unsuspecting enemies who pass over the roots.

Environmental Restrictions: Yes. The Nepenthes is only present in Orokin Derelicts, as it is formed from the effect of the Infestation on the Void ship's decorative plants.

This is just the basis of the enemy's design. I leave it to whoever this concerns to decide about the Nepenthes's appearance.

Name Suggestion: (1-2 words max) Hiveling

Behaviour:  A small, light infested unit that crawls on walls, capable of jumping from its perch and knocking down foes (Tenno, Grineer, Corpus) by landing on them with extreme impact. It only attacks biological creatures, ignoring non-living things. Because they are made with assimilated ospreys, their behavior varies slightly depending on the kind of osprey they're a part of.

Attacks: Pounce: jump from a high place to knock down targets.
Kamikaze: Mine Osprey Variant; jump on a target and explode.
Defender: Shield Osprey Variant; Project shields onto nearby Infested.
Leech: Leech Osprey Variant: Sap the shields of a Pounced target.

Environment restrictions: Orokin Derelicts; Corpus Vessels; Corpus Outposts; Dark Sectors

(Optional) Art or Reference Images: (Max 3 images).

Description (Image will come later): Relatively small with the largest part being the osprey overgrown by infested flesh making up the arachnid abdomen. Spider-like in appearance, they are made up mostly of the grey flesh-stuff mainly found on the walls of areas taken over by infested, sprouting spine-like polyps along its back.

Name Suggestion: Velitan (vel-ee-tan) (Latin for Skirmisher)

Behaviour: Titan is a heavy tank unit for the infested. Focuses on the most dangerous Tenno (one with highest conclave) and/or healer first. Moves at the speed of a regular infested ancient, but when enraged or charging moves at twice the speed of biped infested runner.

Attacks:

Bludgeon: Titans normal attack, it swings its arms around damaging anything in its reach.

Slam: an AoE attack knocking down or stunning any enemy near by.

Charge: Titan charges into the nearest enemy and then slamming them into the ground, while also knocking down any enemies in the way.

Berserk: At 30/40% health Titan gains a damage modifier of 1.5x and a speed modifier of 1.5x.

Environment restrictions: Orokin Void, level 24 and up areas

Name Suggestion: Infested Hive (Or just Hive)

Behaviour: Its body is a bloated blob of infested biomass; it is about twice the size of a charger. When it is idle, one could observe the bloated body moving around, as if there is something inside of it. The Infested Hive is a slow-moving creature, but can have impressive feats of speed when close to an enemy. It moves around using two extremely long tendrils at its side to drag itself across the ground (Moving like a crawler). It can stick to and crawl on walls and often hangs itself from the ceiling to surprise any enemies by falling in front of them and blocking their path.

Attacks: The Hive's main attack is to whack any nearby enemy with it's long tendrils. These do moderate damage and can hit multiple times in a row. It can also grab a Tenno and drag it closer to it so it can take a bite out of it with its mouth; dealing heavy damage. However, what makes this infested enemy so dangerous, is the fact that it carries a swarm of hornet-like creatures in its body. When an Infested Hive is defeated, its body will burst open and release a swarm of 10-15 infested hornets. The hornets are a little smaller than a crawler and attack by flying around their target and firing toxic needles at them. The needles deal small amounts of toxin damage over time.

Environment restrictions: Can only use its hanging ability where there are ceilings. Only shows up level 15+ maps.

Name Suggestion: Infested Kubrow

Behaviour:  Kubrow-like, but more infested. Possibly runs on walls and ceilings like a gecko (or something from the Aliens movies).

Attacks: Bites onto you and won't let go until it is dead. Has an infested-style DOT toxin while attached.

Please, no ranged Infested! No! No! No!

Then forever shall orokin derelict defense missions remain uncontested so long as you have Hydroid (undertow). Seriously, Hydroids are OP in any infested defense missions because of that power.

----

Name Suggestion:

Infested Tenno

Behaviour:

The infested Tenno are deceivers. Thanks to their knowledge on how Tenno never leave a comrade behind, they use this to their advantage by playing dead. They spend most of their time in this stage, waiting to ambush an unsuspecting victim. Should they be attacked while in this state, they will spring up to engage their enemy.

Attacks:

With their warframe corrupted, infested Tenno often lack any powers. These 'mundane' warframes will charge at the players, using their armored bodies to soak up damage. Whatever melee or ranged weapons they possessed at the time of infestation will be merged into their body, utilizing them to fight their target. However, some warframes will occasionally retain some of their abilities, enabling the infested Tenno to use them to initiate combat. Infested excaliburs might use slash dash to reach the enemy for example.

Environment restrictions:

Having recently emerged from infested Orokin cryopods, the infested Tenno only appear in Orokin derelict tilesets and upcoming infested tilesets.

Name: Ancient Scourge

Behavior: The enemy moves faster than a Tenno can run. Flies similar to an Osprey, at heights about as high as the Raptor. Works in group mentality similar to Chargers, and can detect enemies, becoming aggressive at a very far range. They swerve similar to the Oxium Osprey, but the purpose for its swerving, is to distract Tenno so other Infested may attack the Tenno in heavy assault, instead of a suicidal explosion. Emits a eerie screeching sound, that rallies other Infested to fight alongside it.

Attacks: This Infested enemy shoots out corrosive barbs that stick onto Tenno that attract Infested attention to single out Tenno. Long range guns with high accuracy are the best choice to take them down, as cumbersome explosives are not fast or accurate enough to kill them. (Minor note: Originally wanted to have it expel bouncing toxins, but was much too similar to an already existing creature from StarCraft. The Mutalisk.)

Environmental Restrictions: None, even in small crowded ships, they will appear with other Infested.

Name Suggestion: Infested Skate

Behaviour: Like regular Sand Skates, but more aggressive

Attacks:  -Fires toxic barbs with moderate proc rate at range

-Attemps to hide the body in the sand and flail it's tail when enemies enter melee range

-Upon first surfacing, will deal great damage to player's sanity levels

Enviromental Restrictions: Planets, 'cuz burrowing into metal floors would feel awkward (and that's coming from someone who thought that infested skates were a totally fine idea!)

Reacher.

Hovers slightly above other enemies and zig zags around rapidly evading gunfire.

Uncommon mob.

Attacks: (max 200 words)
Long ranged poison attack with high damage and proc.
When the "bullet" hits a player or the ground it causes a toxic cloud to appear.
It can shoot across the map, like the default corpus/grineer rifle range.

Environment restrictions:  (max 20 words)
none really.

Name Suggestion: Ixod Swarm

Behaviour: Singularly, these small tick-like infested lie in wait while alone to ambush prey. While in a swarm of it's bretheren however, they quickly move towards prey, leaping to latch on and feed off their host. Alternatively, these swarms also hide on ceilings to drop onto prey. Their hard shells give them good damage mitigation against all but puncture and fire, making them hard to eradicate.

Attacks: Drain: Attached Ixods drain their host of vital fluids and energy, bypassing shields. A single Ixod is an annoyance, but when a swarm has engulfed a target they can be drained dry frighteningly quick. Rolling can remove one, bursting it. Otherwise friendly fire (literally, to be most effective!) is the best way to cleanse someone. Sometimes their damage procs as viral, transmitting disease to the host.

Environment restrictions: Yes, avoids fire.

Name Suggestion: (Toxic) Psimiax

Behaviour:

  • Monkey-like in movement.

  • Occur in groups of 4. Group can be carried on the back of Leader Charger

  • Can be shot off by allies.(see Attacks)

  • Rolling shakes them off.

  • Occasionally seen scuttling into hiding places if a player enters a tile. (Presence)

  • Quite reactive to noise, but cannot determine threats well! Unless other infested are alerted or if (audio+motion detecting sensitive) feelers detect enemies in close proximity.

  • If shaken off/out in the open, they will run sideways, circling you. (Also occurs if max amount is attached)

  • Also feeds on lights (they are quite busy).

  • After feeding, they will use the energy to spray bright infested spores into the environment. (Lore, environment effects, e.g. Toxic: Green particles)

  • Clues; lights broken/sparks, hissing and lingering of spore spray particle effects.

  • Makes an idle ick-ick-ick + rattle noise, infrequently.

  • Stealth runs don't alert this creature. However! Noise/sprinting in proximity may cause hostility/detection.

  • Crouching/walking past, won't cause hostility, even if in range.

  • Stays off the floor, unless in dark corners. Creature uses vertical orientation to aid poor blood circulation.

Attacks:

  • Doesn't attack 'head on' with infested crowd. Flanks player actively. Runs through players legs, attacks from behind if flanking option isn't available.

  • If on the back of a leader, Creature will hop off its back onto player as soon as leader attacks player.

  • Deals slash and puncture damage as they grab onto player and bite/scratch them.

    • Unless elemental! replace/add prefix like Toxic,Electric etc...  Deals exclusively that element.

  • Does not deal much damage, scales farely well. The threat is clear once there are 4 on you.

  • Attaches like a Latcher. (but doesn't explode!)

  • First attachment stuns...if more attach after 1 is attached, these WILL NOT STUN (avoid stunlock)

  • Each one attached, reduces your speed by 10 % (get it off! GET IT OFF!)

  • Max of 4 can attach. Extras will search other targets or simply wait their turn by circling you and hopping madly.

  • If one is attached , increased likelihood of others attaching in quick succession. (1 - "argh!" stun, 234! “Argh dear gyad get em off me!”)

Environment Restrictions: Horizontal surfaces, vents (Tenno must sneak through). Objects, Switches, Above doors, Corners, See pics for more info.

Name Suggesion: Infested Congregation

Behaviour: The Congregation is a wretched creature composed of hundreds of worm-like Infested beings that stuffed themselves inside a cracked Corpus' Fusion MOA leftover shell (its legs were repalced by their tentacles), which imitates how MOAs quickly walked (and somehow faster), albeit with limped movement.

Attacks: Lacking the laser-burst weapon the MOAs have, it attacks with Corrosive bolt in long range and its tentacle-like bodypart that gives Corrosive damage in close range. When it dies, this creature will explode and spreading their individual worm bodies everywhere that acts like a Latcher, which gives Corrosive DoT unless it’s removed by rolling. (Could be fitted as the specimen which Tysis is based from)

Environmental Restrictions: Infested's Corpus Maps on Planets where Fusion MOAs oftenly showed up.

Optional Art: Obviously inspired from Halo's Hunters; added with scaly-Infested look to match Tysis.

:shudder:

EDIT : Little grammar fix.

EDIT 2 : Just realized that it would be another type of Runner. Changing things a bit.

Name Suggestion: Vivens

Behaviour:  Tenno-like structure, often referred to as an infested Tenno from times past. Walks on two feet, and has the same movement style as the average Tenno. Beware CQC or CQB with this enemy, Tenno!

Attacks: Attack 1: CQC based attack, possibly removing the sidearm or long-arm of the Tenno. Retrieve weapon upon killing Vivens. Attack 2: Stun attack, immobilizing Tenno. Chance of reducing shields to half capacity as long as Vivens is alive.

Environment restrictions:  Spawns frequently in Grineer maps, as Corpus tech interferes with the circuits of this Corpus-Infested hybrid.
