Enemies Of The Tenno: Infested Submissions

Hi!

Must have been hard on you guys. I am here to share my idea:

Name Suggestion: Titan

Behavior: The TITAN is an advanced form of the infestation. It was named TITAN due to its deadly strangle. "Tighten" and "Titan" rhyme, hence the name. TITAN moves silently, like the assassin it is.

Attacks:

-TITAN terrorizes its foes from below, grappling them with its tentacles, gifted by the infestation.

-TITAN holds on, draining energy and shields at a slow, steady rate. This also immobilizes the foe. (I didn't want an insta-drain, because that would be Ancient Disrupter's skills, and as we all know, we hate Disrupters.)

-Shooting any of TITAN'S eyes while grappled will free you. However, TITAN'S eyes are small.

-TITAN will then flee, surfacing at another time.

-The true danger TITAN poses is during solo or being left behind...

-If no enemies are captured by TITAN, and if there is a enemy at melee range, TITAN will engage in melee combat, lunging forward and swinging its blades in a "X" swing.

Please, take a look at the concept :D

Environmental restrictions: None

No one has seen its tail, nor has anyone lived to tell the tale. Get it? Tail? Tale?

I don't usually participate in this kind of things, i'm never lucky enough, yet...

Name Suggestion: Densetsu (means legendary in japanese)

Behaviour: This enemy, is the hive sub-commander. Being infested a zerg-like faction, where most of lack the racional thinking, there must be some who can think and coordinate. Densetsu are the prime chosen by Lephantis.

Attacks: This infested enemy type has a huge size, similar to ancient units, although, a bit bulkier. They have a strong swipe attack with his left arm, and a hard-moving grapple/throw with the left.

Environment restrictions: Preferebly, main/only infested reagions (if i recall correctly, Orokin Derelits only have infested.

Name: infested reaper

Behaviour: - charge right into tennos

- Very fast

- regular health and no armor

Attacks: - Knock tennos down and leap on top of the tenno. They

start doing regular melee attacks while on top of the

Tenno. A tenno can only get rid of these by doing melee

Attacks which damages them by a percentage of the

actuall damage the weapon would make. If the tenno has no

Melee equiped they just Knock the reaper away by Pressing

E.

- regular melee attack

Environmental restrictions: can be anywhere

Name Suggestion: Infested Tenno

Behaviour:  The infested tenno runs faster than the other infested and is able to run on walls to take shortcuts, once the infested Tenno sees a player, it will emit a wave of energy after which the infested Tenno will charge at the player. With quick slashing attacks it can severely harm the player and knock the player down. Once the infested Tenno has killed a player or allies of the player it will stand still, a bit bend over to regain it's energy.

Attacks: The Infested Tenno dashes towards a player or a creature allied to the players with a broken Skana.
- Normal Attacks: Attacks in slashes of 4, which can do some amounts of damage.
- Energy attacks: The Infested Tenno will channel his energy into his skana, after which he releases it when he slashes it to the player, this attack will knock down any enemy that is nearby and will do a massive amount of damage to the one being attacked.
- After the energy attack the infested Tenno will need to recharge and will be vulnerable for a few seconds.

Environment restrictions:  (- The same restrictions as players have.
- Can not slide or slidejump.

Edit: This has been suggested already but i wanted to post my take on it.

Name Suggestion: Infested Brethren

Behavior: The infested brethren are lost tenno that have been made whole (read corrupted by) with the infested. A tragedy as well as a horrific twist of flesh and warframe, the Brethren are truly a horrific sight. Using weapons from when they fell, the brethren are most often seen using common tenno weapons, as well as weapons they have picked up from slain foes. The brethren are corrupted figures, and as such, cannot move with the efficiency of their living counterparts, only able to use warframe skills to a feeble degree and weapons more-so, with a deadly yet inaccurate skill carried into their horrific, twisted life. The brethren range from newly resurrected frames awoken from cryo only to be consumed, to veterans of countless missions that were doomed to join the ranks when an assignment took a wrong turn.

Attacks: The brethren used to be tenno, as a result they can use various tenno weapons to a lesser degree of accuracy than regular tenno. The brethren also use warframe skills, but are limited in what they can use (usually basic skills) to a far less effect (reduced damage and area). The brethren also often hunt alone, but will form something resembling a 4 man team, a charade to mimic their past lives and increase their deadliness on the field gaining damage and accuracy for each member of a squad as well as beginning to use more advanced tactics (much like a smaller hivemind gaining more brains).

Environment restrictions:  Usually hidden away as the infested's secret weapon against foes, the more advanced Brethren are only encountered in upper levels. Less advanced Brethren are sent to the front lines to do the infested's dirty work and bolster their forces during long battles.

Name: Spawner/Spawnling

Behavior: a large, 4-legged creature that runs about and periodically deploys "spawnlings."  It will not create spawnlings unless it is threatened. Spawnlings may be produced every three seconds.

Attacks: being larger than a Tenno, Spawners will attempt to kick us and stomp on us if we are knocked down.  Spawnlings have small spikes on their front legs that are used to stab players.

Environment Restrictions: none

This, but the Spawner is armored and very hard to kill. Every time you kill a spawn it splits into two more and they all die when you kill the host or spawner. The spawns are very aggressive and attack you with the element you attack them with, the spawner is alway trying to run and hide.

Name Suggestion: Infested Konte

Behaviour:  A mimic type Infested. Takes on the appearance of the containers (Named after the Japanese "Kontena") to lure unprepared and greedy Tenno to their doom. If Shot whilst hiding always drops either a health or energy orb. Incredibly slow movement speed in second form. Whilst in secondary form the Infested Konte uses single tentacle to propel itself sideways across ground, but the muscles used for for this are weaker than those for pushing, simular to how a crocodiles jaw is stronger closing than opening. Has low weakness towards electricity due to external casing of metal.

Attacks: Main attack is triggered when a Tenno melee hits the container the Konte is disguised as or touches it. At which point it turns in to a puddle (like Hydroids Undertow) which sucks in all hostiles within a set radius and does impact damage whilst those affected are submerged, but is also capable of spawning with additional toxic aura on later planets.

Both damage types increase/scale up the longer hostiles are engulfed.

To escape this form a Tenno must dodge/roll. Konte can be hurt and killed with melee attacks but limits damage taken due to submersion.

After a Tenno has escaped the Konte takes the form simlar in size to a Lobber Crawler but more blob like, with one extendable tentacle. This tentacle is swung Horizontally to hit mutliple targets. This attack has the same range and impact of a Toxic Ancients thrust attack (knockdown prefered) with lower damage the closer to the main body. Whilst in this form Konte manifests toxic aura if spawned as Toxic.

Environment restrictions:  Due to movement limitations Defense missions are not suggested. Also commonly found in small groups.

Name Suggestion: Infested Brute (Generic placeholder name, couldn't think of a better one. >.< )

Behaviour: This creature walks on four legs, with a small body and one very large front leg, glowing slightly to show emphasis. This leg is its vulnerable spot, and the rest of its body is relatively immune to attacks through very strong resistances. Shooting or attacking this leg will cause it to swell up and begin glowing, and after a certain point it will kill the creature.

Attacks: When the large frontal leg is undamaged, the creature can move in for melee attacks with its sharp front claws on its secondary leg, dealing high slash damage/proc chance. As soon as the front leg has taken some hits, the damage dealt up until the killing blow is stored, and if it gets within range of a player, the creature will forcibly detonate its own leg, causing high blast damage and releasing a large cloud of toxic gas. Can also do infrequent AoE knockdown attacks while leg is undamaged or has taken low damage.

Environment restrictions: This is a large creature but a versatile enemy, can be spawned effectively anywhere.

Name Suggestion: Infested Dart

Behavior: The Infested Charger variant scampers in the same manner as a normal Charger but keeps some distance away and attacks at mid-range

Name: Infected

Behavoir: They look like specters but wilder, and random, Everything they do is RNG, that includes Aggro, some infected will have huge Aggro range while some will have very small Aggro range, some will be fast, some will be strong. There stats will rely on RNG.

Apperance: They spawn on Infested planet, and OD, and rarely spawn in Operations.

Enviromenal restrictions: As i said they are random, they by deffault have every ability of a regular Tenno but sometimes they will be faster, slower, or some they can't do at all.

Attacks:  they have all the powers of the random warframe they spawn as, and all their abilities are more powerful and colorful than a regular warframes abilities. (catering to Lore)

Let me put a example,

Saryn: Venom, Instead of just 3 bulbs it does 10 bulbs that all do 20 viral damage. (can be rolled out of)

Ember WOF: Instead of just a bit of flames and AOE it has a bigger AOE and a huge amount of flames erupting everywhere, and more damage over time.

Rhino skin: like 3 more layers of rhino skin. :/ 3k damage resistance. (does not block poison)

Excalibre Slash dash: Multiple slash dashes all doing 100 more damage then the regular version.

The balance is that they do not use any guns, and their basic attack is a close range attack, they do have a random amount of energy when they spawn, so some can use a power 1 time then come charger while some can use it 10 times.

Lore: These are the unlucky brothers and sisters, we resisted the infested and from some miracle got away, but they weren't lucky, or weren't strong enough to resist its pull.. It brings tears to our eyes to kill are brothers and sisters, but for the sake of balance we must destroy our fallen allies.

2. Are brother and sisters could not resist the urge of the Infested, due to that they mutated, and grew stronger then any of us could imagine, but power has a cost, they lost everything that made them a Tenno they lost everything that made them human. They are now just bodies, bodies with our powers, and now we must destroy them, before are enemies can use them against us.

Edit: I am not good at drawing so i am taking some infested enemies from Dark sector to use as a basic for what they kinds should look like.

Name: Infested Scion

Behaviour: These enemies are basically Tenno that have fallen to the infested and themselves become infected with the Technocyte plague.
They Will come in three subtypes, a melee, a ranged and a stealth version. Unlike typical infested units they will still maintain a degree of the dexterity and agility that they once possessed. They may or may not also have shields.

Attacks: The melee version will be a quick moving unit that charges Tenno and charge attacks them.

The ranged version will attack from medium range with shotgun style projectiles made of crushed bone and shards of armour.

The stealth version will attack unsuspecting tenno from the shadows with poisonous sinews. (toxic/viral damage)

Environmental Restrictions: These units will only appear alongside the most powerful infested and/or limited to infested outbreaks?

Artwork: Sorry I am not very artistic :|

Name: Heavy Charger

Appearance: essentially its the "Heavy Grineer" plus armament of a few other light grinner types but has unfortunately been infected by the Infested. Like the "Charger" it will resemble a deformed Grineer with the infested parts and will also be walking on its 4s however it will be larger (since it is a Heavy Unit). To make things more interesting it will have 3 Grinner "Shield Lancers" Shields attached on the body (1 on the front and the other two on the sides) essentially making a walking tank. To look as if the Grineer tried to fight off the Infested, the shields will be damaged and have a few claw marks and will be missing corners, giving the "Heavy Charger" a authentic Infested look. the shields will be stuck on by the Infected flesh like swelling stuff seen on all other Infested types.

Behaviour: The "Heavy Charger" will move sluggishly if the Tenno remains unnoticed similar to all other creatures of the infested, but once it finds its prey it will charge at full speed (similar to that of an Ancient type but maybe faster), may even push aside smaller infested type when walking aimlessly.

Attacks: Once you encounter the "Heavy Charger", the "Heavy Charger" will turn to face you and will prepare to charge at you. Before it charges it will do an animation lasting for 1-2 seconds where it lifts lifts its front two legs (like a rhino or a bull), once the animation is done it will charge at a straight(ish) line for 10 meters (not to sure about the distance), knocking any Tenno aside in its path. Once its done charging, it will stop and look around for a few seconds and the process will repeat until it or the Tenno dies. To make it more interesting "Heavy Charger" will also have the "Heavy Grineer" STOMP if Tennos get to close to the "Heavy Charger" when it hasn't warmed up for a charge.

Environmental Restrictions: Only on Grinner Occupied Infested areas, Never/very rarely in narrow corridors

Name – Infested Spitter

Behaviour – This creature, code named “Infested Spitter”, is stationary on the ground and camouflaged amongst the infested moss that is around the infested map. It will stay just like a infested moss and remain insusceptible and undetected (even with the enemy radar/enemy sense mod) and then morph and reveal itself when a Tenno get within its attack range , then morphs back into a infested moss (if it is not killed)  when Tenno exit its attack range.

Attacks – The stinger will attack any Tenno if they come within range. It will fire circular projectiles with slow fire rate. Each projectile will splash upon impact (like Penta) and they act like homing missiles chasing after a Tenno. It will do corrosive damage over time (like a Toxic Ancient). It will glow red and get brighter which acts as a visual clue when it is going to fire which will warn the Tenno that they should kill it before it fires. (see concept art below)

Infested Lotusk

Behavior/Description:

A spore producing, purely infested creature of the Technocyte Virus, that which resembles a bell-flower when floating ominously throughout the air. These creatures can be seen hatching from the infested tissue mass which clings and pulls at the walls of structures it bends and mutates; these creatures have only one directive provided from the hive mind, to seek and convert. They hide in shadows, in doorways, corners, creaks and crevices, constantly seeking out new prey to mutate and assimilate into the hive mind of the infested after hatching from their ghastly pods with a disgusting display of unknown fluid. Any unsuspecting or foolish victim that gets into close proximity of the Infested Lotusk will be first bound and constricted with five of the creature’s powerful leather, tendril-like petals before poisonous, noxious gas seeps from the creature’s center, imbued with spores of the technocyte virus which invade the victim’s mind, while the creature’s outer layer glows a sickening green and yellow, caused by its toxin producing glans beneath the protective cover of its petals. The creature’s center or mouth has four tusk-like claws to lock victims in place which protrude around a single hole riddled with a dozen rolls or lines of tiny, shark like teeth spiraling into the creature’s depths.

Attacks:

The inside of the creature’s thick, leathery petals are riddled with various protruding spikes that one might compare to the spikes of the underside of a cleated shoe. These spikes are like needles, darts, with which, when threatened, the creature will defend itself by sprawling its petals open and spinning like a windmill and hovering in the air before quickly darting from one direction to the next, much like a humming bird, spraying needle after needle as if it had the mechanism of a wind up, heavy machine gun. The faster the creature spins, the faster it shoots its lethal, poisonous darts. If its opponent decides to get close to the creature, it will instead cover up its weak points at its underside and stop spinning to wrap itself around the approaching threat at close range. When and if the creature wraps around you Tenno, you may lose yourself for a moment, allowing the hive mind of the infested to penetrate your conscious, to urge you to turn on your fellow Tenno, it may only last for a quarter of a minute, but only your comrades and their powerful crowd control and disabling abilities or their melee weapons can pry you free from the creature’s grasp. While the creature is holding on to a fellow Tenno, it will steal the shields of its victim while causing constant physical damage, and any bullets fired at the creature will hurt both it and your fellow Tenno.

Enviroment:

They thrive everywhere, on walls, ceilings or floating in the air for open combat, but they prefer to attempt stealth first before spinning around.

Try not to run into one of these things carelessly by sprinting through doors and hallways.

Infested enemy type

Name: Secretians

Behavior:

1. Secretians are the infested which secrete slimy mucus type fluids which trap unsuspecting tenno and other enemy factions.

2. Secretians also have the ability to split into 2 entities/daughters using mitosis (maxiumum 2 secretians can be produced) like dopple gangers. mitosis will occur after the secretian has taken certain amount of damage from the player.

(Important note: for tennos :- Secretians have ability of mitosis, but be warned, if you use melee attacks and slice them, they can still become 2 entities with your help and also these 2 entities that you created still can use mitosis which means they become 4 in total because of your melee slicing attacks).

3. Secretians hate freezing temperatures.. ice and cold are incompatible for their growth, meaning the slime can be frozen and destroyed(frost is best against secretians / even ice damage in weapons).

4. Secretians can only be destroyed by ice, melee attack and after they have finished their mitotic division into 2 daughter organisms..

5. Secretians have slight corrosive damages in their slime or mucus as well.

6. Secretians are as tall as and infested ancient, but slower in movement.

Attacks:

1. Secretians, as the name suggests, will secrete/spray mucus like fluids which slows the tenno down just as the ice traps do in some maps. slime(corrosive damage) also affects the health of the tenno (slimy mucus can only be destroyed by melee attacks).

2. A secretian use mitosis and divides into 2 secretians to over power 1 tenno.

3. Secretians have a slimy body type which means they can also use their slimy nature to stick to walls and slow down the tenno wall runs.. also they use this ability to camouflage themselves to any wall type..

4. Secretians always attack in groups, so as to use their mitotic division ability to multiply in numbers and over power the tennos.

5. Secretians upon death will ooze out slime on the floor and on the attacking player to slow them down even after they have perished. (the ooze/slime still produces corrosive damage but in lesser amounts than when the secretian was alive).

Environmental restrictions:

Secretians are best suited to environments with walls, Floors, Ceilings and strangely in the Water bodies of earth for camouflage.

Freezing temperatures and frozen maps are a big NO NO for secretians.

Secretians cant stand Ice/ freezing temperatures.

Optional art: sorry.. no particular design/reference for the secretians because they are fluid like in nature or slime like in nature so they have no shape just like the Amoeba.. they look like slimy mucus zombies dripping of thick disgusting slime from their fluid like bodies..

use your imagination for the art because its just too easy to make shapeless slime..

Name Suggestion: Degenerated [insert Drone Name] (Example: Degenerated Dethcube)

Behaviour: As the name suggests this enemy is basically any type of drone having become infested and acting on it's own. They always operate in groups of 3 to 5 units and attack a player on sight and will keep fighting until only one or sometimes two units remain. Those two will then flee and try to merge with another group of Degenerated Drones, the groups that form this way cannot exceed 7 units. Once the remaining units have successfully merged with another group, this new group will search out the player that did the most damage to them and attack. This will repeat until the entire group is terminated. As long as those enemies have not found a player to attack they will patrol a certain, randomly chosen area.

Attacks: The usual drone types and their weapons. Meaning that if you encounter a group of Degenerated Dethcubes they'll attack you with the Dethcube Gun. If you encounter a group of Degenerated Helios' they'll attack you with the Helios-Weapon. Different damage types could be added to this, such as corrosion or poison.

Environment restrictions:

- Aerial units

- As fast as a running Tenno

- Spawn in any Infested scenario

I'm sorry, but I'm bad at drawing and kind of couldn't find a fitting image...
