Name Suggestion: Infested Clump

Behaviour:  The infested clump use the bodies of fallen comrades (only biological NPC's) to incubate and rest. They look like something like bloody maggots, but with lots of long aphendages protruding from them, using it as legs. They have no movement restrictions, being able to tavel ceilings, walls, floors, and they do so very fast, but they have very little life, being only killed witha few shots. Once an NPC operative has been killed within the swarm, they overtake his body and use it as a future "nest". Although, once the swarm attacking dwindles to under 30% of it's initial size, it will run randomnly from Tenno and operatives until it finds another body to incubate.

Attacks: When and enemy gets close to the body, they burst out, destroying the body and covering nearby Tenno or other operatives in a liquid that hinges their movement and visibility. They then proceed to attack anything in sight, wether biological or machine. They completely cover it, and slow down the charater immensily. They don't deal much damage independently, but the bigger the swarms, the greater the damage. They are fairly easy to escape, but if you find yourself stuck in the middle of a swarm... your goin dan' mate. Also, a weapon especially suited at dealing with these, is the flame thrower, of course. Guns or explosive weapons work best, but the only real effect you'll get on using a mellee, is either through using the spin attack close to ground or the jump-drop attack.

Environment restrictions:  It cannot survive in cold enviorments.

Name Suggestion:  Incubus

Behaviour:   The acutely named "Incubus", latches a tendril onto its victims to siphon off power, health, and even shields.  Whilst the incubus untethered is weak and slow like a normal infested (non ancient) it changes to become a viable threat once attached.  It favors quick lower damage strikes in quick succession to slow heavy damage ones, this manner of attack is single target.  The incubus always prefers to attack the target it's latched to.  There is a limited range of how far a latched target can be before it snaps.

Attacks:  After the Incubus has attached itself to a victim it will use the energy it has siphoned to deal empowered melee attacks or even utilize stolen tenno abilities (low rank ones, think 1s or 2s).  Keep in mind it has to live long enough to acquire acquire the energy to use the stolen abilities.

Environment restrictions: none

Name Suggestion: Lonth(randomly generated)

Behaviour:  Flying monster that suits indoors, has the shape of a Charge(less muscular) with wings(slightly longer). His weakness is the belly - if slaughtered in the wings, falls to the ground still "alive" and uses the suicide attack. Flies in running speed (1.0 tenno speed) but walking as slow as a Crawler. Can be found in groups of 3 to 5 - making the fight more chaotic.

Attacks: While  flying, loose the belly bombs - Blast AoE damage; ashore, bites, hustle(while in charge - doing knockback) and kills itself - causing a reasonable damage in a large area(blast type).

Environment restrictions:  Preferably open area, but by being adaptable, no apparent restriction.

-------------------------

Name Suggestion: Extinguisher

Behaviour:  Having evolved as a response to the infested's natural weakness to fire, this infested is highly volatile in nature. It mixes itself in with groups of other infested, and should it take to much damage from fire it self destructs in a massive explosion, with whatever remains of it becoming a fire hazard.

Attacks: Claws, Self-Destruct (when it takes a certain amount of fire damage or dies from an attack dealing fire damage)

Environment restrictions:  Cold temperatures inhibit the combustive reaction, thus they avoid any cold environment.

Name: Kalilyc

BehaviourNimble, Kalilycs don't rush there enemy's but move at a constant speed. Weaving to avoid hits at range. If not killed fast this humanoid enemy will use it's bony bladed arms to parry.

Attacks: Parallel to there little health and lack of CC the Kalilycs have high damage melee attacks that tend to resemble a more sophisticated swordsmanship then other infested attacks.

Environment restrictions: Most common in claustrophobic spaces (Elevator shafts, locker rooms, thin hallways, air vents etc).

Name:

Infected Cluster

Behavior:

The Infected Cluster is a "cluster" of many bodies, sacrificing speed for high damage and endurance. When low on health, it will begin to pick up the bodies of its living allies, if they are present, to grow and heal. This makes it more of a rare encounter than a normal enemy, it's tough cookie and even after being defeated it will break apart into more random basic infected enemies making one last attempt to crush you.

Attacks:

Slowly swinging its many arms and legs, making multiple hits in one swing. When under heavy damage, it will slam the floor knocking it's foes to the ground.

Environmental Restrictions:

Rain and heat effect its ability to stay together, making it impossible to remain in hotter climates

Name Suggestion: Infested Commando

Behaviour: This enemy aims to steal your primary weapon and use it against you. Has cloaking with sound as a giveaway to its general area. This infested is a former soldier with some lingering intelligence of how to use weapons. Returns stolen weaponry upon its death. Is able to wall run to approach Tenno.

Attacks: This infested enemy type will stealthily sneak up on Tenno and aim for their primary weapons to steal for their own attacks. Loses cloaking once it succesfully steals a weapon but gains shielding and is able to use your own weapon against you.

Environment restrictions: Only appears on Infested maps, with the condition of a mass (or certain) number of Infested killed within a short window to spawn this unit.

Name Suggestion: Infested Tactician

Behaviour: It hangs back near a swarm of chargers, keeping a close eye with long range vision.

Attacks:It is able to disable/disarm players from using their ranged weaponry from a distance and sheperds chargers to monstrous rushes.

Enviroment: Only on infested maps

Name Suggestion: Siren

Behaviour: The Siren remains attached to a wall or ceiling, immobile save for the undulating motion of its many luminous tendrils. The creature's sigh, like a haunting chorus of almost human voices, pierces even the din of battle.

Attacks: This Infested enemy is able to touch the minds of its foes, confounding all within earshot of its eerie song. In the midst of combat the Tenno begin to see and hear non-existent assailants, shadows of downed allies call out for help, and alien thought patterns hinder their perception. Should an operative engage a Siren in melee, it will begin to thrash and flail at the aggressor in a desperate attempt to drive him away. This attack is weak at best; however an occasional bioelectric jolt might temporarily stun a threat.

While the Tenno fight the creature summons illusions of the Stalker, the Grustrag Three, Harvester, maybe even Vor or Zanuka. Each apparition is only visible to the targeted operative and disappears after being killed (low health, the same for each spectre) or after delivering its attack (armor piercing, it’s all in the mind). The illusory wounded look exactly like squad members bleeding out, minimap marker and all, and disappear when one tries to heal them. Finally, the siren can obscure the Tennos’ vision not unlike Alad V’s Thousand Suns attack. Instead of blinding light it sends down visions of the past, the alien, or of the completely abstract.

Environment restrictions: Probably not a good idea for outdoor areas or the grand halls of the Orokin.

Optional art:

- approximation of appearance

http://autoimagesize.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/anemone-wallpaper-animal-underwater-animals-picture-anemone-wallpaper.jpg

- approximation of voice (1:00) In my mind it is more discordant, less human, less like music.

Infested Kayrobee

Behaviour:  (max 200 words)

A wasp-like creature, with bird-like wings, and a vicious stinger. tries to flank the players, usually in conjunction with the Chargers, and sting them from behind. If injured, will attempt to disengage and fly for reinforcements, piping in a high pitched whine to alert other infested.

Attacks: (max 200 words)

Sting - does reasonable damage, with a slow/stun effect - the first two stings slow the player by 30%, then 60%, and a third sting delivered within 10 seconds of the first stuns them for a few seconds.

Environment restrictions:  (max 20 words)

Infested, spawned alongside other fast-moving melee beasts

No suitable image - picture an Infested Wasp with bird-like wings, and a barbed, jagged sting.

NAME SUGGESTION: The Mantis

BEHAVIOUR: This predator patrols through rooms and corridors in a slow pace, scanning it for any sign of threat. Once it sees any kind of threat, it will rush towards it, crossing larger distances with jumps, using it's wings as support. Once it reaches it's enemy, it will come to a halt in front of it, blocking it's way, hunting it relentlessly should it try to flee. Being a melee-only unit like Grineer Prosecutor, it will also be defeated melee-only, using it's scythes to block any bullets from the front (slicing apart rockets and similar projectiles) or it's wings for bullets/projectiles from the back. It is able to block melee-attacks with it's scythes, and will occassionally even counter.

ATTACKS:

All attacks are weak on shields, but deal huge damage beyond them. Also hurt other Infested.

1: Uses both scythes to land a devastating, cross-shaped hit, which breaks through defense. Since the Mantis will shortly reach back, it can be identified, and avoided by falling backwards or rolling to the side, as the Mantis won't change it's direction once it has initiated this attack.

2: The Mantis falls into a state of rage and will rapidly slice at it's enemy in a straight path.

3: Holds "arms" together and connects them via infested flesh, then spinning the two Scorpion heads (attached to each other at the back) in front of it.,while rushing towards the enemy. Not blocking and being hit will result in knockdown and a "finisher", in which the Mantis slams the scythes down on the enemy.

4: Grows a third Scorpion-Scythe from the back on a kind of tentacle, allowing it to reach enemies from further away. Will do this once down to about 25% HP.

5: Begins to turn it's upper body at increasing speed, slashing everything around it

Counter: Occassionally will block melee-hits from Tenno and try to counter with the other scythe / other scythes.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESTRICTIONS:

15+ Infested, rare enemy. Too huge to enter small vents or similiar locations.

Also, since I didn't have a picture for it, I chose to write a small description of what I imagined it to look like, as replacement for the optional pictures. Please ignore it if it breaks the format too much.

DESCRIPTION: A Heavy Gunner that has it's body covered in a thin layer of infested matter, it's lower body replaced by a huge infested charger-like body, two mantis wings of infested flesh on it's back. Two Scorpions have fused to this heavy gunner, replacing it's arms in a mixture of infested flesh and their upper bodies. The Scorpion's machetes have become part of their body, protruding from their wide-open mouths, and have become the backwards bend scythes of the Mantis.

Name suggestion: Prodox

Behaviour: Moves a little bit slower than the rest of the horde at a constant pace, without need to rest. Prodox excaells in endurance and is constantly hunting.

Attacks: Once Prodox has spotted his prey, he will then grab the closest unit and ragdoll throw it towards his prey, which on contact will knock down any units it collides with and also apply any effects it normally does to his enemy. Also will unleash toxic fumes that makes his enemies hallucinate, tempting them to move towards Prodox, even from a great distance. Has weaker melee attacks.

Environment Restrictions: Can climb walls at half his move speed if needed, but cannot jump like the smaller units.

P.S. So many infested tenno =D but no infested Lotus, how come? I just hope this inspires to create awesome new content to have fun with.

Name Suggestion: (1-2 Words)

Red Herring

Behaviour: (max 200 Words)

-An encounter with these infested, codenamed, “Red Herring” is not too common, as they spawn slightly less frequently than ancients, but they pose a menacing threat once they arrive. Red Herring are dual-stage enemy infested, which means that they take two stages to completely kill.

-During the first stage, the infested stands tall and uses slinking/slithering movement patterns to approach targets. They can, but do not always compress the size of their bodies inward or against any structure in an attempt to blend in when they spot an enemy. This allows them to ambush any prey that get close without having to expose themselves. In (seeming) death, Herring slam their faces into the ground and spew “bile” into the environment. The “bile” is actually an infection which develops into the second stage of Herring within seconds.

-This second stage is a cluster enemy (5-6 spawned), is blisteringly fast, and typically remain partially underground, using tunneling for movement. When close, they act in a frenzy, which encourages slam attacks. They use sonic waves to throw off the senses of the tenno, confusing players by creating sounds that draw attention to “nothing” which will create openings in defenses.

Attacks: (max 200 Words)

-In the first stage, multiple tentacle-like limbs are used for melee based attacks, and its “super” attack is restraining enemies by stretching and wrapping its appendages around them and sucking out health energy, which it uses to recover some of its own health. It usually does this when it is about to die, and tenno are only able to break free through the use of melee, or help from a squad member. Since the Herring have multiple appendages, they can grapple several tenno at once, but can only bleed health from up to two tenno at once.

-The second stage of Herring utilize mid-ranged burst firing and quick, close-ranged hit-and-run attacks. When attacking mid-ranged, they erect arrow-like protrusions from their throats that have barbed tips, and can spew several in quick succession. These tips are color coded with different hues of green, and have a chance to inflict either a viral, corrosive, or toxic proc for a short duration. When close, this stage uses speed and number to its advantage. They lunge completely out of the ground at great speed, doing direct puncture damage, then quickly retreat back into the ground. Too many of these attacks can cause knockbacks.

Environment Restrictions: (max 20 words)

-No, Red Herring are unexpected, relentless, persevering, unstoppable.

Name Suggestion: Gaser

Behaviour: Mutated bombard, the gaser has symbiotized all the components of this unit. He's full of bloated highly explosive gas and can fly and turn by spouting his internal gas trough various orifices. He's slow moving and he's never in front of any infected troop, but he can dash with unsuspecting quickness. Before dashing he must stay still and inflate his body while mixing gases, emiting nauseous vapors (visible) in the process. At this time he can dash or attack from afar (see below). He's more intelligent than most of the infested and try to shot his corrosive spit from safe spots and rush dash only when severely injured.

Attacks: He float and move slowly, but he can dash to hover on top of his victims and spout higly toxic jets of gas. He do his dash always when he's about to die. When uninjured he just spit his internal mixture in a concentrated blob of liquid gas that he can project on his enemies. This blob is relatively slow moving and can be dodged. When he die he explode, releasing an higly volatile gas, this gas combust and explode two yards farther being released, creating a blast AoE that expand from this base, Tenno's right under him are generally safe from this.

Environment restrictions:  He suffer from moist environement, and fear vast open space.

Name Suggestion: Swarmer

Appearance: The creature will be a small, reddish brown, cockroach-like rodent with a thick outer carapace. It will have 10 legs on each the left and the right side of its body and it will be able to attach and run on walls/ceilings really quickly. It would appear to have no head as well.

Behavior and Attacks: This infested unit will hunt in groups of ten to twenty and will lunge into the player, biting them and potentially inflicting slash damage onto them causing the player to bleed for a few seconds. The rodent will move quickly and try to latch on to and run on walls and ceilings to better surprise the player. This enemy will have little health and will have no shields, but the Swarmer's carapace will reduce the damage normally done to it by half.

Environmental Restrictions: Highly common in Orokin Derelict ships; slightly common everywhere else where other infestation is present.

Name: Gas Mite

Behavior: Similar to a latcher, this enemy waits until a enemy comes within jumping distance, then latches on. Enough damage to it's back causes it to explode, dealing gas damage to all entities. Is twice as common and deals twice the gas damage on corpus gas city tilesets due to increased gas content.

Attacks: Latches on and drains health of victim.

Environment restrictions: Heat causes premature detonation, cold prevents detonation. Rare: corpus outpost, grineer settlements, tilesets with fire/ice.
