Recommended Posts

Name: Forgotten [Warframe]

Behavior: Tenno who have succumbed to the Technocyte Virus, and begin to turn on their former allies. The virus has corrupted the Tenno's mind forcing them to forget much of themselves, but their knowledge of combat remains allowing them restricted use of weapons and skills. The Infestation has destroyed their shields, but they retain the strength of their Tenno armor which is further boosted by infested sinew.

Attacks: can use the first or second ability of the host warframe (forgotten ember will fireball, forgotten frost will freeze, forgotten loki will invisibility, ect.). Inaccurate use of favorite tenno firearms such as braton, lato, burston, ect. And brutal but slow usage of melee weapons such as the skana and nikana.

Environmental Restrictions: either 1) mostly none, just rare mob OR 2)SPAWNS FROM DEAD PLAYERS >:)

(no art, I suck 'n')

Thank you DE for allowing players to have a say in what we wanna killify in your game. :D

Name Suggestion: Infested Buzzer
Behavior: The infested buzzer is an aerial unit that comes in 3 variants, needle, melee, and acidic. They travel in swarms and try to overwhelm the tenno with their large numbers and quick speed. They will try to actively stay out of their enemies sites flying around at high speeds to avoid damage never sitting still unless they're dead.

Attacks: The needle variant keeps it's distance while keeping a steady barrage of needle like projectiles which it fires at it's enemies in rapid succession. The melee variant performs hit and run tactics, diving in to quickly get a quick hit off then quickly moving away and turning around to continue the assault. The acidic variant does not directly engage it's enemy, instead coating the battlefield with an acid that both slows and damages those who step on it. (think ice trap combined with acid) All of these attacks do very minor damage but in large numbers in quick succession it adds up.

Environment Restrictions: Can show up anywhere but more ideal for wide open spaces for them to fly around.

Alone the buzzer is insignificant, but in large quantities they are a major threat. Be wary Tenno.

I imagine them looking like some sort of infested insect, with the needle variant having some kind of needle launcher appendage underneath it, the melee variant having 2 scythe like claws, and the acid version vomiting acid out of it's mouth.

Name Suggestion: Kyvlar

Behaviour:  A mutation from the Virus has caused the Infested to become more mobile, these nicknamed 'Kyvlar' are rather aggressive and vicious towards enemies. Appearing as giant winged insects they crawl about the ceilings in the dark before flying down to swarm an enemy with a razor sharp stinger and fangs. They appear to work in small groups rather than alone, so it is not uncommon to find yourself being attacked by three at a time.

Attacks: The Kyvlar have a large stinger, it's said that they work together to allow one of them to stab you with a stinger and inject some sort of poison however during this they are rather vulnerable to attack. They are capable of landing on you, and should enough land on you, they can momentarily keep you paralysed as they bite at you.

Environment restrictions:  Yes. Susceptible to sunlight, only found in dark areas and usually on the ceiling.

Name Suggestion: Infested Carabace

Behaviour: (size is around 2 meters tall)This infested only stick/cling onto walls. It passively lingers in tunnels/caves/halls ceilings, camouflaged with its environment(not invisible) TIP: can be identified by its 2 antennas jutting out(still hard to see though). The outer shells consist of the same material of the surroundings it clings on(like in my drawing, the shell looks like a rock when its inside a cave. or if its in a crystal cavern, it uses crystals as it shell). Can drop SUPER RARE ores or material because its really hard to see them AND if they die in an area out of reach/no ground underneath, be ready to use some wall running skills(or use nova/valkyr's ability to get the falling item). Hitting the outer shell will not do any damage, it will make only them hostile. you can only damage the inner part. weakness is hard hitting blunt weapons like fragor(or anything that has large impact/puncture damage). a powerful upgraded Bow or a sniper can make them fall onto the ground if hit hard enough.

Attacks: Just normal attacks like slash with its long retractable claws.

Environment restrictions: they cling onto far away walls that are hard to see in plain sight, ONLY in passive mode. it will be a too easy opponent if its on the ground.(although you can make them fight on the ground)

(Optional) Art or Reference Images: sorry for bad drawing lol

Name: Bat (Alternatively Vulture, Fowl)

Behavior: usually in a small pack, these Bats hang from from the pipes and bars  with their feet and tail on the roof until disturbed. The Bats, once alerted by an alarm, gunfire, or loud noises,  the Bats will release from the roof, and fly around slowly. Their flight pattern is fairly simple; simply flying in slow loops towards the target, flying over head in a circle twice, then swooping down and attacking the nearest opponent.

Attack Pattern 1: When a Bat has clung to the Tenno (by biting, and wrapping it's tail around a limb) the Bat will bite and flap it's wings, dealing damage over time and periodically stunning the Tenno.

Attack Pattern 2: When there is a bat already attacking the Tenno, the Bat will instead dive-bomb the Tenno every 5 loops, biting at the Tenno before flying away and returning for more.

Environmental restrictions: Appear mainly on Earth, Ceres, and Jupiter. Won't appear until level 25.

Artwork:

I'm not a great artist, so the colour scheme is fairly... well.... monstrous. Yellow is Eyes, Purple is wings + feet, Red is the tail, and Green is the main body.

Name Suggestion: Omni

Behaviour:

The hunter of the infested, it would stalk the tenno and attack when other infested attack. In other words, it would attack when the tennos are distracted and/or split up.

It will rarely  team up with  other Omni to attack the tennos. Making encounters rare.( make it harder for scans and would make players always on a look out).

Attacks:

It would hide behind walls and surprise attack a tenno by running(or charging) to them in great speed pushing others tenno to the ground while dragging its target accross the room and attacking that now lone tenno .If it is seen before it could do a surprise attack it would attack the tenno normally or in a slight chance run away to attack for another time.

It would attack with it's blade like growth from its arms, hack and slash anything.
To make things challenging, it would occasionally pounce on tennos instead of charging at them.
(pounced tenno needs to spam buttons to escape, if failed, Omni will realease the prey after a X amount of damage have be inflicted to the prey.)

Environment restrictions: All map except in open areas.

Name: Infested Hive mind

Behaviour: Strong Psionic infested unit that takes a commanding role in the infested force, will rally infested to its defense when in danger. A large malformed eye rests in the center of this beasts chest and can be shot at to temporarily blind the Hive mind. When the eye is destroyed the beast will become berserk and begin a psionic storm which will ravage friend and foe alike, use this to your advantage to take out larges groups of infested!. The Hive mind increases the movement speed of all light infested units by 10% the Hive mind can also let loose a warcry which doubles this bonus and increases heavy infested units movement speed.

Attacks: Will primarily attack at range with mind blasts which drain a considerable amount of shield energy but do no damage once the shield is down. getting near the Hive mind causes the beast to discharge a large psionic blast which knocks back friend and foe alike dealing moderate damage, this has a moderate cooldown to prevent chain knockdowns(im lookin at you grineer heavy.)

Environment restriction: Can only be found in deralicts and pure infested ships. Will begin spawning after wave 20 of defense and 20 minutes of survival.

Suggested Name: Doppelganger

Behaviour:

Morphs it's infested flesh to mimic the appearance of a friendly Tenno. This disguise includes mouse-over name, health and shields bar, just as if it were an another player running through the mission with you. The only way to see through the facade is to get close enough to see the hints of infestation, or to read the mouseover name which would obviously not be player created.

Suggested Attacks:

1.) If it gets within melee range of a tenno without being fired upon, it performs a quick knockdown attack which then pins the player for a short duration, dealing damage. Similar to the ground attack finishers from Fist/Hands & Feet weapons like the Furax, Obex, and Kogake. This attack alerts nearby infested, if they were not already aware of the player's presence.

2.) If it takes damage before reaching the tenno it will retreat to cover and spit ranged attacks at the tenno of the Toxin damage type.

Suggested Environment Restrictions:

Very rarely appears on Defense or Survival missions. Its purpose is to add a sense of horror rather than difficulty.

Name suggestion: Shining Devourer

BehaviorIt is an ancient that acts more like a charger, in that it will attack you first if given the chance. It hungers, so it hunts. The speed of it should be between a charger and a leaper.

Attacks: Instead of the stretching arm it should suddenly glow, so it does a sort of radial blind technique. Being blinded will lower you defenses. If it happens upon a downed tenno, it will absorb them. Regaining health and keeping said tenno from reviving.

Environments:  All of them

As someone who wishes to go into creative design (possibly for you guys if you're hiring, ehehe...), I guess i might as well give it a shot. I looked hard at the infested ranks and how most players deal with them. The infested lack something that high-end melee Tenno fear. Sure, toxics maybe, but with my recent addition of Life Strike to my D. Nikana, in combination with rage and Valkyr, I've been able to tank almost a dozen ancients, without caring about disruptors or toxics. In my eyes, this would be the perfect solution to solve that, a unit that utilizes Damage 2.0's elemental system, and the infested's love for infestation, to create a unit that creates 'Gas' element areas on units, that deal and have a chance to status proc Viral damage, what would eat a tank hard? Removing half of it's health pool, that is a threat to melee Tenno, but it also provides ranged Tenno something beneficial to kill other than the occasional ancient, thus possibly re-diversifying the weapon pool our Tenno will take into infested areas, and that is something I believe to be a vital asset to making the game a more rewarding experience for new play styles in different areas.

---

Name Suggestion: Infested Sprayer

Behaviour: Acts and looks similar to infested runners, but with a green color scheme, and instead of quickly wailing on you with attacks, it will flail around and flings toxic liquid everywhere (more below). Is slightly larger and slightly more durable than the average infested unit, and also is slightly faster.

The Difficulty and play-changing factor is that the only infested that directly strikes your health, and simultaneously threatens players with high shields, low HP, is the Toxic ancient and the rare crawlers. this unit can be seen sort of as a 'support ancient' that gives the infested more zone control before they can truly bunch up onto a player, and it's on-death explosion is another problem melee Tenno have to worry about when these heavy units approach.

Attacks: Flails its hose-arms around and spews toxic bile everywhere, this bile deals and can proc Viral damage to non-infested units directly near it, and can 'stick' to things similar to how a Vauban can stick his electric orbs to someone, or how the Castanas work. this means that it can also spray its allies, making mini-toxic ancients. This bile only lasts for a few seconds, but ticks damage every half second.

On death, it will 'explode' similar to how chargers do, and spray everything in a short radius around it in the same toxic liquid, the pool that forms on the ground lasting twice as long as usual, but any enemies or allies hit by the blast will be coated for the standard duration. As a note, the viral damage proc may not be 100%, but it will be very high if you actually are hit by the damage-causing bile.

Environment restrictions: Uncommon spawn in higher level missions.

Art or Reference Images: While my artistic skill lacks, imagine in your head a green runner/charger, larger and fatter than it's cousins, with large tendrils that act like hoses for it's bile instead of arms.

Name:  Infestedoid tree

Appearance: Only orokin derelict (to be the main source of the big roots where tenno can use)

Behavior: It is a huge type of tree with the style of infested like the roots they use to climb, normally he have many blue points where they need to be shoot to they lose a tentacle, and they seem to throw infested grenades if they get off the tentacle finding an eximus will be rare and they can drop rare mods like 2, they will have a great bag of blue liquid that is his blood and there is need to be destroyed to be dead.

Attacks: They not complete to get a full control of the ship and they have tentacles that they can use to attack the tenno the big ones have weakspot to be destroyed and the tree lose his balance and weakpoint to reveal, but the damaged holes will throw infested grenades, from the roots he can spawn any type of infested if he is eximus will spawn just one time an eximus.

They can be introduce in a event the total clear of ship like Operation Total Extinction, but if the player manage to kill the infestedoid tree he will not drop anything or mods or resources, of course where they roots were will be gone and there will be a hole where there is a destroyed door hack to open it, the door explode and there are a loot room with in center the boss reward and other resources like orokin cell

Name Suggestion: Nymph/Spittle

Behavior: The Nymph/Spittle is a long ranged infested unit (yes I know, oh joy). The body of the Nymph is of an infected Grineer Ballista this means its health is low and cannot take much punishment. It stays far away from its targets often taking cover high above its prey and behind columns and doorways so it may fire its payload and retreat to the safety of cover it is also quite quick but only in small stents. If hit by enemies while on a vertical surfaces it will fall to the ground dazed.

Attacks: The Nymph/Spittle's payload or primary means of attack is it's spit which fires in volleys of 2-4 bursts, it causes viral damage and does low-medium damage to its target, the unit cannot produce enough spit to maintain a high fire rate on its barrage so must retreat to regen and fire again.

Environmental restrictions: None the unit can spawn in with regular units on medium leveled missions and since infested don't have their own systems.

Keep in mind I don't draw often at all.

Name: Fallen Brethren/Fallen Sister

Behavior:  Fallen Brethren/sisters are Tenno that have been corrupted by the infestation, they are very rare and deadly, rather fast and are hard to take down quickly.

Attacks: They are equipped with whatever weapons the Tenno was using when they had died (sword, bo, or dual daggers), and in that manner attack you. Depending on what weapon they posses they will act in slightly different ways. Most of the fallen have the possibility to have elemental damages too.

Environment Restrictions: None, but will only start spawning on higher levels (20-30).

Name: Impatus

Behaviour:  Similar in behaviour to a volatile runner. It is a large, bloated humanoid mass that moves at the same pace as crawlers though with a substantial amount of HP. These units will only spawn at rates that make it spawn as frequently as Infested Ancients.  When it is within range of its target it will activate a 1-2 second, animated timer where it glows very bright and then explode.

Attacks: Like the volatile runners it will attempt to explode when it is within proximity of the player. Like crawlers their are different variants each with their own different suicide attack. Their are these type of explosions:

-a very large AoE gas cloud with  DoT

-A large AoE explosion that does a massive single bout of damage,

- high AoE cold damage that will do little damage but will slow the player for  a small amount of time,

-a small mob of crawlers and volatile runners will be thrown out as the Impatus explodes

-upon death it spawns a small volley of  slow moving projectiles that seek out players similar to that of J3-Golem. It will however, do less damage than J3-Golems attack

Environment restrictions:  Incapable of jumping. It can only walk/run to its destination/the player.

Name: Lurker

Behavior: This infested tends to stay hidden, cloaked by a stealth unit lodged in it's body; from the corpus it used to be. It likes to stay close to the pray it's closest to, lurking up behind them while stealthed to try and get in a deadly strike at the unsuspecting pray. When its cloak is broken and it becomes under attack, it will flee, trying to hide again so its cloak can reactivate.

Attacks: It's first 'attack', that's more of a passive ability, is a damaged cloaking device, which provides a decent cloak for it, that will break apon attacking or being attacked. Its second attack is its actual attack. It will use its blade like arm to deliver its deadly strike. When it uses it while cloaked, it will break its cloak, and can be used while not cloaked, but for less damage.

Environmental restrictions: It's body is armoured in hardened plates of bone, slender, but still strong. Allowing this infested to be quite agile, and able to preform wallruns, slides, etc, just like the Tenno; making it easier to hunt Tenno. This highly adaptable infested is able to survive in even the most harsh of environments, and can appear even in the void.

Descripstion/reference: This infested is intended to be an infested version of stalker, that hunts Tenno after they kill an infested boss. It's has a humanoid body type, with bone plates to provide it adequate armour for good protection from attackers. It has long, slender limbs, and two tentacles portruding form it's back (Decorative only). This infested used to be a Corpus Prodman, who was infected, and turned into what it is now. It's prod is still with it, melded into it's bladed arm/hand, which allows it to on occassion disrupt tenno with an electrical charge from the prod.

Name: The Doppelganger

Behaviour: This Infested looks similar to any existing Infested types, only that it duplicates it self upon death. There is a way to identify it but it is very subtle (in design). Upon killing it, the death animation will reveal thousands of small moth-like-spores that travels through the air forming another (duplicate) infested. Duplicates have a tendency to suicide and duplicate it self rapidly. It does not only multiply in numbers, but in strength as well. So the strength of duplicates ranges from light infesteds to Ancient infesteds (depending on the stages of duplication, it might end up being stronger than an Ancient).

Attack: Doppleganger's behaviour and attacks are the same as any Infested that it takes form as. Due to the fact that duplicates multiply substantially, Players need to Kill the original Doppelganger before it becomes out of control with channelling attacks. (No Tenno should ever leave their sword behind!) :p. It is pretty easy to kill a Doppelganger, but it becomes increasingly difficult if you overlook the first duplication stage. but fear not! even if you have hundreds of duplicates, when you kill the original Doppelganger, everything dies with it. Phantom Menace!

Environment restrictions: Extermination missions, It does not appear here. Only one Doppelganger may appear at a time.
