Innocent_Flower Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 (edited) Ingame (we're ignoring metagame stuff like RNG and mod ballance and whatnot) Some of the fun in just moving around and even teamplay isn't as good as it's meant to be. Movement- Get rid of the hobbled key. Unlike the other keys it's less challenging and more a bane of fun. Replace it with something else; Like an ability deficiency or something. Stealth; Loudness for weapons and abilities. Have you ever played army of two? The concept is overdone in that game but the concept itself is rather fine; Enemies tend to want to kill the bigger threat. The guy with the biggest gun is going to attract more bullets. Now I'm going to suggest that AI prefer to target the enemy that's killing the most and making the biggest display and the target that's the biggest threat to them personaly if they're biological and intellegent. - A loudness mod. A team might have a Frost, A nova and a Nekros .Seeing as how frost has good shields, good health AND good armour, a player might see it clever to give himself a 'louder' weapon that just says "forget about the weaklings, I'm going to kill you all", Meaning the nekros and Nova are probably going to recieve less bulletholes and so the team are probably going to last longer. Of course if a corpus crewmen sees a snake nearby whilst a rampaging elephant is further away, the nova is going to get shot at as the first priority. Stealth and movement; Wall animations Wall animations; I just think It'd be realy nice if characters passively animated in a way that assists protection, No; I'm not suggesting we make warframe into a cover based shooter and the system should be dynamic and there should absolutely be no snaping into cover or buttons to press. Just animations that stop the player from moving so roboticaly. Furthermore That trick people do when they're behind a wall but their crosshair is on a lancer; The gun may be aimed at that wall but it's going to hit that lancer. Maybe It'd be nice to see some animation to go with that. Maybe a 'blindfire' accuracy penalty (you can see the lancer, but the tenno can't) (This'd also mean that you can shoot non-hitscan weapons around cover, but it also means that the enemy can shoot your hands) stealth and tactics; Hunting Enemies that visibly communicate and work together in both flanking tenno and finding tenno. Stealth- I can't see you, but i know you're there somewhere. If I had a laser rifle and a lot of ammo to go with it, and just saw my enemy pull a predator and turn invisible, I'd probably move around with paranoia and spray in locations where they could be (hopefully without cutting down all the trees). If I thought that there was an enemy behind cover (possibly even after he's moved) I'd throw a grenade that way . Movement- Tenno superpowers I just think it'd be realy, realy cool if each tenno could move around in their own way. Maybe Vaubun, excalibur and zephyr could jump realy high if you hold down the jump button rather than tap it. Maybe a few characters can use their abilities to move extra well when wallrunning or instead of rolling (which you can do if you tap shift, I guess some people might not know that), Or maybe their hard landings are special. Movement- Wallrunning and jumping that aren't so roboticaly fixed. Why oh why you can only run precisely horizontal or vertical I won't know. Movement- Better grabing of ledges. It just needs to happen. Two many ledges that you can't climb because of a minor concavity, Movement and tactics-At least one enemy from each faction that can used advanced movement. Stealth; Loudness for weapons and abilities. Have you ever played army of two? Yah that makes sense, but its not up there on the high priority list. Can you explain it a bit more? stealth and tactics; Hunting Enemies that visibly communicate and work together in both flanking tenno and finding tenno. Again, not high priority, but it would be nice. Stealth- I can't see you, but i know you're there somewhere. All my yeses Movement- Tenno superpowers I just think it'd be realy, realy cool if each tenno could move around in their own way. TAKE EVEN MORE AND MORE AND MORE YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I really like this concept. This is different, and I feel like it would add to the immersion of the warframe you're playing as. Movement- Wallrunning and jumping that aren't so roboticaly fixed. Why oh why you can only run precisely horizontal or vertical I won't know. Movement- Better grabing of ledges. That doesn't really matter that much, we are tenno, and its a fictional game, so meh, I guess it can come with Parkour 2.0 though. 2. If you mean grabbing ledges and like moving along them Assassins Creed or Darksiders style, then yes. 3. I dont really have anything to say about it, except maybe it could be added to the eximus things. The new leader enemies. But overall, yes please. Take my +1's Edited May 4, 2014 by Deaths.Reap3r
Shuuro Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 The idea of having my Ash move around in the arts of the old Tenno ways? Feeling more like a Ninja and more unique compared to that super dashing Rhino Prime? Yes. Just. Yes. +1
