So I Chaged My Region Setting To Asia...

No trade chat,no recruit chat, no regional chat

 

Just clan chat

 

Either asia is empty or DE doesnt want us reaching out...

It works that way? I thought that only work for matchmakings. 

For once I changed my language settings and suddenly I got transported to a channel full of different names and different language spoken.

Or your client cannot display the alphabet? Was clan chat in english?

 

We have all had the ******.**** BPs when client is not the same language as host.

Still no luck after restarting

 

I know my pc can display different languages

 

I played FFXIV on an asian server and regularly visit a few asian websites to read (or attempt to) things

Global chat was off for some reason....

Try relogging, there's a lot of player in asia region chat.

I love playing the Asian region actually.

The PUGs I've been in there had really good team cohesion and #4's aren't getting spammed all over the place.

They do? I live in Hong Kong and I always don't seem to meet those types of people (I set my matchmaking region to Asia to minimize ping, in case anyone was wondering). 

Guess it's just luck on my part. If I did it more often I might experience what you see instead.
