Is Nekros Worth Building?

I'm thinking about getting Nekros as my next frame, but is he really worth the time and resources?

Yes.

 

He is the only warframe that can literally pay for itself.

Desecrate is amazing in survival, I have my nekros built to maximize that one ability and it's great, air is never an issue. In terms of his other abilities though, I don't even have them on because I put so many slots into making desecrate op and increasing my own survival.

It's nice to have at least one in your SQUAD. In your inventory? Not as much.

If I could always find someone else to be nekros, I would almost never play it.

basically after you max him  equip 3 weapons you need to lv and just desecrate only for a party you get free exp and they get more drops win win.

Red orbs everywhere - he's REALLY good for smooth survival runs. Take stuff that slices enemies in two to get even more chances. It still comes down to RNG - he might speed up the grinding but I don't really feel more rare mods dropping.

 

Then again, I might just be hacking stuff at the wrong places.
