Login Rewards

So after 5 straight days of pointless XP as my login rewards, I came up with a new idea that I think would work quite well.

Instead of getting rid of the XP rewards like most players want, how about an entirely new rewards system? What if instead of a random daily reward, we get a progressive rewards system?

For example, log in each day and get a random reward like we already do. On the fifth day of logging in, however, we get a guaranteed reward. Let's say 25K credits. Days 6-9 would be random again; on day 10, another guaranteed reward. Repeat for every 5 days. On the 30th day of logging in, we would either get platinum or the 75% off coupon. Guaranteed.

However, if you miss one day of logging in, you reset the rewards. So if you make it to day 28, but you don't log in the following day, you reset back to the day 1 login reward. This will encourage players to at least log in every day and once they reached a platinum reward or discount, it would encourage them to spend it on something new to play with in-game.

Potato Rewards

Another idea I had was for survival/defense missions. What if we got rid of Orokin Cells, Keys, and Fusion Cores as rewards in T3 missions, and added potato blueprints with a pretty rare drop chance? I just think it's redundant to play a key mission just to get another key. And I think it's pointless to play for 45 minutes in a T3 survival just to get an orokin cell or Rare 5 fusion core that I could have gotten playing on Saturn for 10 minutes. To fill the extra gaps in the rewards pool, higher credit caches could be added as well as Rare Stance mods or new "Universal" Warframe Abilities.

Just a couple ideas I wanted to share and get some feedback on before I went to bed.

Mhm... i'm thinking of something like monthly based rewards list ...

Day 1-6 with Tier 1 rewards and the 7th day giving out a guaranteed but still RNG based rare reward of that list... day 8-13 Tier 2 rewards, day 14 guaranteed rare of that Tier 2 list and so on, resetting on the 1st of each month.

To get the best rewards you have to log in every day for a month which will be hard but really rewarding.

Another idea: remove the "mission quest" thing (score 10 headshots for 5k affinity, etc). Re-implement them as a list of "daily challenges" to get you not just logging in, but playing a bit. So, for today's randomized challenge you'll have to do:

- Score 20 Headshots in Total

- Kill 40 Corpus Units

- Kill 25 Enemies Just with Melee

If you complete all three, you get an additional daily reward roll so your odds of getting something nice are doubled.

Exactly. I want to be rewarded (and actually feel like I'm being rewarded) for logging in and playing every single day. It gets very frustrating when I've been logging in for two weeks straight and getting sentinel or primary XP almost every time.

I like your idea, but I wouldn't make the reward another daily roll. I would just have it set up to award you XP when you finish the challenges. Or possibly even a decent sum of credits.

E.g.:

Daily Challenges

Kill 100 Corpus Crewmen - 15,000 XP

Get 35 kills while sliding - 10,000 credits

Kill 5 Eximus enemies - 10,000 XP

Problem with login rewards are that they are highly diluted, like every other drop table in Warframe.

For example, instead of an XP reward per weapon type, why not make a single XP reward that affect all slots?

I like the idea of this! Additional rewards that probably will cause players to play the game, rather than just login and claim the reward and then log off.

5 days? I haven't gotten anything worthwhile for close to a month now.

That's my point. With the new rewards system, you would be guaranteed something good every 5 days, with a very good reward on the 30th day. After 30 days of consistently logging in, or after one missed day of logging in, the rewards would reset.

I disagree with guaranteed platinum. 75% off coupon is okay, but I think 50 would be more reasonable. I was gonna disagree with platinum entirely, but I remember seeing a new icon that looks like +Plat flash past on some of the rolls. The 75% coupon should be the height of luck. I think potatoes and forma would make better guaranteed rewards.
