Question For [Digital Extremes]

I was wondering if it where possible to have various models for some warframe weapon concepts I thought of, I recently discovered some 3d sculpting programs I am getting good at and wanted to try making some ideas for warframe,

I'm not DE, but have you tried looking up a guy called NikouT? He has some models extracted from the client. Otherwise not sure DE would be willing to release models for the public but if they do. SEND ME SOME! :D

 Actually, it happens that I'm able to answer this one for you.

 

 If you want to post Fan Concepts we have a whole section dedicated to it. It DOES get looked at by DE on occasion and thus you should definitely be putting it to use if you want to go through the trouble of putting your whole idea together.

 

 Stuff like sculpted models and whatnot are just icing on the cake. From what I've seen in the past the community has a much easier time getting behind a fan concept they can properly visualize so knock em dead! Pictures always help!

DE doesn't really often answer questions in the general discussion forum, if you really want to ask a question to DE you should PM them on the forums, but the thing is, often times the community knows what you're looking for.

But are you asking about getting warframe models to use when sculpting weapons or where you should be posting your weapon concepts, or are you asking if DE would accept your weapon ideas? Those are three fairly different questions but I can't tell which one you're asking, haha.

 I don't know it it'll be allowed. I mean posting an edited version of one of their own Models. That'd be like cheating. You're suppose to post your own work.

then why would i have asked for the models in the first place if im going to modify them for an idea/ or add on a piece to it? thats like saying i cant use artwork to make an idea because they made the origenal.
