My New Grineer Idea

Ok so I was going to post something about religions of the Grineer but all I could think about was how awesome a pair of steam powered gauntlets would be in Warframe. Originally they had little ports where steam would come out but I figured that’s dumb because steam has no use in Warframe so I changed it to gas slam attack that would gain a larger radius the higher your combo is and the finisher could be grabbing an enemy and then suffocating them and if they don’t die they get a gas status. The gauntlets would have small buttons on the fists that would activate the gas.

 

The lore behind it is that the Grineer tried to build a pair of fire gauntlets that failed horribly and produced a horrible gas that killed the tester. The Grineer then rebuilt the gauntlets in order to enhance the toxicity of the gauntlets gas and the experiment went spectacularly. The gauntlets were then mass produced for Grineer Powerfist.

 

Alternate. Due to research on Infested Toxic Ancients a poisonous organ was found with the Toxic Ancient that was incorporated into a gauntlet that was capable of focusing and releasing the gas.  

 

Tenno Use

 

A constant stream of gas flows out of pipes in the gauntlets that increase with your combo.

 

The radius of the AoE gas effect also increases with combo and does not knock down.

 

Grineer Use

 

This should come with a new Grineer called the Suffocator (Male)

 

It will only be able to spawn in places that don’t have open air like within the interior of Asteroids and Ships.

 

The longer it doesn’t use the Gas AoE the greater the range reaching a max of 7m and the minimum being 3m.

Suffocator has medium armor and moderate attack speed.

 

I want to submit this to the Enemy’s to the Tenno thing and would really appreciate your feedback both negative and positive.

So Furax with AoE gas damage? Doesn't beat the new Furax claws in my list of things to get, but it'll do.
