Every tileset that is currently in game is either,

A) Inside a facility

B) Inside of a ship

C) Orokin and it's copy paste, orokin derelict

D) Desert

E) Forest

All of these tilesets have a lot of similarities, crowded closed in areas with the same color schemes with a different level design.

When will we actually get a new tileset that varies and or randomizes to add to the list? Maybe a tileset that is not actually on the planet itself but on the ship that is patrolling it? This allows you to add many art assets such as the glass hallways which would allow the showcase of space and the planet you're battling above.

Thanks.

I can't really comprehend how any of these tile sets have the same color scheme

Gray, black literally colorless, and that is meant towards the tilesets you play all the time, the forest and desert tilesets are only used in specific planets so they don't count.

The amount of dark in these is just so horrendous and very repetitive, you'd think they would come up with something more imaginative then a new location with gray and black all over again without adding anything new but different design of the level?

Even the dark sectors are just a copy paste of orokin void and they're fairly new.

And don't get me started on the Grineer shipyards, same old same old, literally looks the same as all other grineer tilesets I played, it just has a different name, some new props and a new enemy spawned ONLY there.

How DARE you compare a clean, high-tech Corpus ship to a dirty, contaigous Grineer something flying in the space? Do you REALLY think that those things have ANYTHING in common? Pf...

But really... the only reason for this is that they are for the same faction (because yeah, we have to say, DE loves the Grineer much more than the Corpus).

Orokin Void and Derelict are the """""""""""""same""""""""""""" for lore reasons, nothing wrong with them.

The new tileset idea is really great, though.

They look the same to me dude, grineer just have an orange tint in their tileset, the corpus dosen't have any, they're still relatively the same in terms of their location though.

I was hoping something that we've never seen before would emerge as a tileset soon, as I mentioned before, the tileset of one of the faction ships around a certain planet, and with the reference to the apparent "ship" we'll get on our own, wouldn't it be a great addition to "dock" in those faction ships and be able to get to the bridge and command center ?

An infested invasion/planet tileset would also be nice, we'll have to wait till U23 or something before DE listens though.

I agree. I think they should make new doors for the grineer tilesets. I mean, come on. Those circular doors...... I'm getting sick of them.

Uh, the grineer tilesets look dark and all the same because they are meant to have the same theme, like uh, grineer? Cloned soldiers who are meant only to kill?

Forest and Desert sets DO count because every planet is meant to have a specific set, and they will get one as updates come. Just look at the last devstream and you will see the new corpus set themed similarly to the corpus outposts because they are meant to have the same theme

A different tileset is suppose to be a new location, not a reuse of the same assets again, the grinner shipyards look no different to me then the base grineer tileset in terms of visuals, closed space, orange tint, dark there is nothing new to be "excited" about.

I'd say the forest tileset is the only tileset that actually differs from majority, why can't we have something similar with other elementals? Such as a mine facility deep into the core of a planet with constant lava flow controlled by corpus and or grineer?

There are 13 planets and not enough "elemental" backgrounds to be used. The problem is there are maybe 4 new tile sets so far, Desert, Forest, Shipyards, and corpus gas city (Alad V) so far each one is DIFFERENT don't count the standard tile sets because DE is slowly erasing ALL of them and replacing them with new ones. We just have to be patient that's all. The next tile-set is corpus ice planet. And we still have 8 more tile sets to change!

Did my post not get to you? The grineer are cloned soldiers trained to hate and kill and work all their lives. they dont care if everything looks the same as long as it works. I agree a few colorful tilesets would be nice but i don't want to see a grineer circus or a grineer shopping mall. Your best bet for colorful and refreshing stuff is the tenno locations that will come out with hubs
