Welcome one and all, to the Hydroid master race thread! The purpose of this thread is to discuss how Hydroid is better then every other frame, discuss why you chose Hydroid and discuss anything and everything Hydroid related! You can also share things about your Hydroid, like builds and color schemes too!

 

Obviously I chose Hydroid because of my fascination with Bruce Lee's famous "Be Like Water" philosophy. (That philosophy is only PART of the influence for my alias also but you can read more about that on my forums profile.)

 

Now discuss away my fellow Hydroid fans! :D

Maybe once his Ultimate doesn't shoot out of the ceiling somewhere on the other side of the map when I am being swarmed by enemies and his Barrage can be can be cast multiple times. Until then I don't think he is reliable enough to be a Master Race Warframe. I am not hating on him. He is my favourite Warframe yet in so far as he looks awesome and his skill concepts are awesome, but he needs to be a bit more practically reliable.

Very true, they're all unique.

Yes, they're all inferior in unique and special ways, like little snowflakes that melt too quickly. >:D

Dash, dodge, ranged AoE CC and farming potential. Also happens to look like a badass pirate and has tons of stamina for melee 2.0 blocking and countering. I use my primes for specialized tasks and when I'm feeling lazy, but Hydroid is my new main and favorite and I don't expect him to be dethroned until such time as the devs grant us a Hydroid Prime.

I should make an Excalibur Prime master race thread. The hate and tears would only serve to confirm the master race status of Excalibur Prime, the first and greatest of all warframes of the Orokin era and later.

It's better because I like playing it. I have fun using it. Also, yellow rain is... special. :)

 

But it's probably not the most OP warframe, even if a good build may help to overcome some of its blatant weaknesses.

You'd get so many envious butthurt trolls swarming that thread. The damn forums would crash.

I made my water green. Its pretty awesome but some dude said it looks like Mexican water...:O

I don't know if he is the best but ever since I got him, he became my favorite real fast! He is just so fun to use. His skills all have great utility, synergize together really well and it's WATER! That has always been my favorite element.

Hydroid is the master of slowing things down, playing defence or survival and I want to kill stuff quick to progress but the damn Hydroid turns into a puddle and makes us wait 30 seconds to kill the enemies inside or spam tentacles that aren't strong enough to kill the enemy's but instead make them wave around all over the place.

 I like the look and idea of Hydroid but each and every skill is kinda sucky and outdone by other frames. If tentacles where more powerful but smaller range and shorter time then they would be great, if puddle actually did damage and didn't last as long then again that would be great. ATM though I get annoyed because I just want those enemies dead so I can move on.
