Enemies Of The Tenno: Corpus Submissions

[DE]Megan
 Share

Recommended Posts

Name:  Corpus Enforcer

Behavior:  A close range combat unit that uses Obex to smite the enemies of the corpus, mostly used to enforce matters of discipline, internal disputes or eliminate corporate saboteurs..

The enforcer was an early success of Alad V's research on integrating warframe and corpus technology.  He sold these elite combat units to members of the board to help fund his secret Zanuka project.  They appear as crewman with dark blue jumpsuits, black gloves and boots.

Attacks:
1: Ash's Teleport to close range quickly.

2: Grim Fury stance for the Obex and associated combos.

3. Can parry incoming attacks (weak vs counter finishers)

Environmental Restrictions:  They guard corpus leaders and can be found in groups of 2-4 with corpus bosses.  May also appear in high level capture missions, they are often after the same targets as the tenno.  They will spawn on any Jupiter tile set owned by the corpus, Alad V uses them as his own personal soldiers.

Name: Squid MOA

Behavior: The Squid MOA is a tall (perhaps about 7-8 feet tall), squid-like robot that can either walk on its many legs and target enemies with the lasers mounted on its swiveling head, or it can slither around on the ground like a snake, dragging its victims away. It can also wallrun and climb vertical surfaces, as well as remaining stationary on walls and vertical surfaces.

Attacks: Has laser guns mounted on its turret which it can use to fire on enemies. It can also use its legs to grab enemies and drag them away while crushing them for DoT damage (a tenno grabbed by the Squid would have to kill it before the Squid's DoT could kill him), and it can flail its legs around in order to do melee attacks and radial knockdowns.

Art: It looks something like this:

Corpus analyzer

Not all crew members are warheros, some just have to do the dirty work this is one of them. He only carries a cestra just in case, but his day to day activities consit of measuring air pressusre, oxygen (and other gasses) concentrations in the pressure chambers, controlling some of the chemicical parts of the electronics. He carries a suitcase ful of samples, some remote controls to acces locations, etc.. His weekend affairs include analyzing infested flesh. He has heavy shielding to protect himself against the more unsavory samples, but little healts since the last time he was in a gym was in his nightmare two years ago.

If he;s a lone he will act more like a screaming corpus target shooting his cestra then a regular crewman. If however bolstered by other crewman he tries his luck and uses many of his samples to aid his fellow corpus crewman. He would throw a stug like projectiles, found in disfunctioning chemical toilets, or would open shipwindows, while activating lifesupport for his allies, would throw gas cannisters, he also carries a heavily polluted cannister of zanuka lube oil, which will let any tenno slipand deal poison damage. Even the most sterile corpus ship has those filthy things called humans.

environment: corpus ships

hope you like it :)

(btw Engish is not m native language)

Name Suggestion:

Corpus Salvo.

Behaviour:

The Corpus Salvo behaves similarly to the Corpus Tech, with some minor differences.  He is equipped with a modified suit that grants him high resistance to Blast damage.  Also, when the Corpus Salvo falls below 50% health, he will begin to deploy trip mines.

Attacks:

Penta – The Corpus Salvo wields a Penta, with Corpus safe-guards still in place.  It differs from the version that the Tenno wield in that the grenades cannot be remotely detonated.  It still retains a magazine of 5 grenades; however, they will detonate automatically a couple seconds after they have been fired.  They deal a moderate amount of Blast damage to any Tenno caught within the explosion radius.

Trip Mines – Upon hitting 50% health, the Corpus Salvo throws a cluster of trip mines every couple of seconds.  These trip mines can stick to the floor, walls, and even the ceiling.  When deployed, they emit a green laser (similar to laser barriers) and detonate when a Tenno crosses it.  They deal high Blast damage in a medium sized radius upon detonation.  However, they can be easily disabled by simply shooting them.

Environment restrictions:

None.

Name Suggestion: Corpus Auditor

Behavior:  Like her namesake, the Corpus auditor is a highly deft, incredibly scrutinized fighter, designed to bolster the power of the Corpus while tearing at the loopholes in the enemies defenses. Using technology to make her 'skate' around the battlefield, she uses buffs to increase the output and efficiency of Corpus Proxies, and can deploy mobile camera devices to lock down Tenno and activate local defenses.

The Auditor is a position held in high regard to the Corpus, so although arrogant and deadly, she is not foolhardy. Designed as a quick-moving, fast-strike support enemy, the corpus Auditor will retreat after taking damage, but will continue to buff her proxies and use the deployable cameras to hinder Tenno advancement.

She is no pushover however, and can use her radiation charged polearm to great effect in close combat.

Attacks:

Deploy Ocula – The Ocula is a small camera that ‘attaches’ itself to a Tenno, pinpointing it with the laser spotlight used by stationary cameras. The Ocula will orbit in fast, zipping motions, making it hard to hit, but it can be destroyed. While it is active and ‘attached’ all laser gates are active, and it – as well as local turrets – will be actively firing shots at the target. Once destroyed, the camera effect is gone.

Firmware Upgrade – The Auditor is augmented to be able to reprogram Corpus proxies in a matter of seconds. When activated, the firmware upgrade causes all Corpus Proxies (Moa’s, Drones, etc.) to receive damage and movement speed buffs. This lasts until the unit is destroyed or the Auditor is killed.

Arc Discharge – By pointing her polearm at a Tenno, she can release a Amprex-like bolt of lightning, typed as radiation. This is a straight-forward attack that is designed to proc an effect over any real damage.

Environment restrictions:  None. Maneuverability in any situation is key to an Auditor.

Name Suggestion: (1-2 words max) Punisher

Behavior: (max 200 words)- Punisher is an elegant female corpus based off the research done on valkyr. She is also unstable. She uses dual lecta whips. and is able to build up an electric charge with her weapons. If she takes to much damage she may go into berserker mode.

Attacks: (max 200 words)- Basic attack- A 3 hit attack with a 100% electic proc chance on the last hit. Tornado- Punisher spins repeatedly clashing her lectas against each other to build up a charge. This attack leads into Smite- after building up a charge Punisher will send lightning into the air, based on how much health she has left the lightning will target a player, or if she still has high health smite will hit herself with the lightning and go into berserker mode. While in berseker mode she has an aura of electricity and a speed boost.

Environment restrictions: (max 20 words)- She is a rare enemy, possibly with her only having some of her abilities unless she is a leader. or possibly being a boss not a normal enemy (nefs daughter XD)

Name Suggestion: Corpus Excetra

Behavior: Wiggling around on the ground like a snake, this mechanical worm tries to sneak up on tenno to deal a devastating electric shock before moving back out of danger. Its sleek and agile body makes the Excetra hard to hit and it will constantly move, trying to dodge attacks.

When engaged in combat, the Excetra will switch tactics in order to defend itself. Movement slows down to allow it to more easily target the enemies that startled it and it enables its shields, which are usually disabled in its "stalking" state.

Attacks:

-Once close enough to a tenno, it will leap forward and attack using a prod attached to its "head". This attack electrocutes the target and stuns it, leaving it open to attacks from other corpus units. This attack is both used while "stalking" and during combat.

-When engaged in combat, it will use a continuous laser also attached to its "head" that functions like the flux rifle, as a medium-range weapon to attack whoever shot at it. The Excetra will move slower to aim properly.

Environment restriction: Found in smaller spaces like "corridor missions" (capture, survival, exterminate, etc), usually spawning in rooms behind the player(s).

Name Suggestion

CARRI (Carbon Assisted Repositioning Robotic Interface)

Behavior

A large machine with two bladed arms that pinch around a target object to move it from one place to another. Can also be programmed to offensively attack hostile targets.

Side Note: AI Wise it will be inactive until a camera spots hostile targets. It can also be found moving containers from one point to another or ripping them open.

Attacks

Claws: It will jab its claws forward to cause piercing and slashing damage, but also attempt to grapple with these claws.

Welding Laser: A shorter range than the Elite Crewman's flux rifle, it will use this weapon on targets it has captured.

Ram: Will attempt to ram into a target that is far away at high speed, causing knock back and knock down, but also inflicting impact damage.

Environment restrictions

Cannot jump, forced to use its treads on the ground.

Description

Essentially a forklift with a tread that grapples objects.

Name Suggestion: Grineer Moa

BehaviorBeing made of salvaged Grineer Lancer armor, this moa is heavy duty and highly resistant to conventional gunfire, especially in combination with its Corpus shield. It plods along slowly and attempts to flank opponents, mirroring Grineer tactics as much as it can.

Attacks: Deploys a medium-range jet of corrosive mist that easily eats through armor. When in close range, it will use a Corpus-modified Machete installed in its legs to kick foes into submission.

Environment restrictions:  Only appears in Invasion missions with both Grineer and Corpus present

Here we go again.

Name Suggestion: Holographic Sentry

Behaviour: The Corpus Holographic Sentry system is a recently-developed security unit, created through researching the technology behind Tenno Specters that were confiscated from captured Red Veil personnel. Taking the form of glowing, transparent crewmen, the sentries behave in a similar manner during combat, albeit with the added perk of being very powerful and nigh-invincible. The only way to disable a group of sentries is to disable the emitter they originate from, as the tradeoff for their incredible power is limited range and connectivity.

Attacks: The Holographic Sentries are armed with digitally-constructed weapons akin to standard Corpus weaponry, namely Dera and Supra rifles. They will attack in the same manner as standard crewmen, albeit with much less care for safe cover as they are not programmed to be apprehensive towards danger.

Environment restrictions: Can only be found on the Corpus Gas City, Corpus Ship, and Corpus Outpost tile sets, and only when the Corpus are present for the mission.

(Optional) Art or Reference Images: Will add my own art later. For now, just picture a crewman in this form.

Can't draw well, but I had an idea: behold, the terrible "Canary" proxy.

iIMgXs0.png

Name Suggestion: Canary proxy

Behavior:  Produce an aura that reduce the damage taken by Corpus proxies or crewmen, and absorbs the damage it mitigated to then redirect it toward enemy units. Replaces Shield Osprey. Fly around erratically, with sudden stops and starts. Cyan core is more vulnerable than the white-ish shell.

Attacks: Focus precept: Canary spreads its outer shell outward (kinda like wings, see "sniper" on drawing) and fire a thick laser toward an enemy for 1 second, unloading over the second part of the damage absorbed. About 1,5 or 2 second warning given by a targeting laser and an audio cue. Doesn't use all absorbed energy, only about a quarter and can be spammed.

Spray precept: Canary closes it's outer shell behind him (kinda like a satellite dish, see "shotgun" on drawing) and unleash a short and broad energy barrage, dealing massive damage to enemies that is too close (can be blocked with melee). About 1 or 1,5 second warning, with an audio cue and the position of the shell. Use all absorbed energy at once.

Protect precept: If no enemy can be targeted or enough Corpus units have low shields, will convert absorbed energy into shield for allies. Doesn't use all absorbed energy, only half.

Environment restrictions: Preferably in open area, due to it's airborne-ness.

PS: It's called Canary in reference to the canaries used by miners to detect the unseen danger of gas leaks. This proxy protects the crewmen in a more aggressive way however.

Name:

C.W.A Exterminator

Behavior:

(c.w.a: Corpus War Android) Exterminator is heavy corpus android that has 800 robotic hp and 600 proto shields. It cant be stunned (only elemental and status will make knockback to it). Exterminator has 2 very long provas that it uses to attack in close rainge and 2 tetra rifles in its arms that are attached to its shoulders. Exterminator has corpus helmet head that blocks damage until its destroyed, it will reveal its moa kind of head. Exterminator has 1 big weakness and its melee counter attack finisher, if player manages to execute counter attack, exterminator will lose its tetras. Exterminator has many forms, including: stomper, napalm (its tetras shoot fire laser), railgun, eximus and corrupted. Its much longer that tenno or corpus tech.

Attacks:

Exterminator will slowly walk towards player when in long rainge, shooting with its shoulder tetras, when its in medium rainge it will rush towards player and knockback them with dual provas. When its in close rainge it will do heavy melee attacks that deal heavy damage, it also has sword rotating attack that starts Exterminator to rotate his hands and swords rapidly, dealing low damage but hitting multible times and blocking all bullets/lasers/attacks.

Enviroment restrictions:

Wont spaw if players are very low leveled.

Name Suggestion: Engineer Master

Behavior:  The Corpus Tech is just below this master. So busy, but ideal in leading moa, and osprey into battle. Basically an enemy leader that runs into battle along side moa, and Osprey. This mechanical master keeps an array of robotic arms on the back of his chair and rides on a mechanical spider chair perfectly designed for an ergonomic battle. As he strides along the machines he can repair, and buff them. Once he joins a group of Moa, and Osprey they tend to move infront of him to protect him from your attacks. He never strides infront of machines. When not alerted of battle they can be found unaware of your presence fiddling with a control panel, or something that looks like it needs repair including Moa containers that have not been activated yet.

Attacks: Their attacks vary from the Spectras, and mechanical claws attached to the mechanical arms, to their ability to ram you if you get too close, successfully knocking you over to attempt crushing you with their spider-chair in a finishing move. They do not coordinate attacks with the machines other than to use them as a shield. However they do have an extra ability if your in a room with turrets even if the cameras are destroyed they could activate them to fire upon you(killing them stops the turrets)

Environment restrictions:  Limited to the ship, or locations where an engineer master is needed such as possibly in the future deep within a Corpus installation(They never go outside. They don't do well outside)

Name: Periculum (for male variant, means Peril)

Periclum (for female variant, means Danger)

Behavior: They will spawn separately, the variants act the same, they are just there to add a little bit of diversity in the game. They are Heavy units. They are highly aggressive, because they were Zanuka experiments, so they have similar attachments on the body, like Valkyr. When first found they use a Penta. This applies to both of them. When half of 1/3 of life is gone, or by their own choice, they will discard the Penta and go on a rampage. From that point on, they will be melee only, Periculum using the Obex, while Periclum using Corpus made claws that look like the Indian Bagh Naka. While doing this, they will act like Valkyr doing her 4th power, Hysteria, albeit not invincible. The can also use Paralysis, but to a lesser extent than Valkyr. They also gain a large boost in shield and shield recharge rate.

Attacks: 1) Penta: just like a normal Penta, but doing less damage than ones being used by tenno. 2) Mania: When half of 1/3 of life is gone, or by their own choice, they will discard the Penta and go on a rampage. From that point on, they will be melee only, Periculum using the Obex, while Periclum using Corpus made claws that look like the Indian Bagh Naka. While doing this, they will act like Valkyr doing her 4th power, Hysteria, albeit not invincible. 3) Paralysis: They stomp the ground, pushing back any enemies, but it can knockdown when it procs.

Environmental restriction: None. They appear more often in the Corpus Gas Cities, but in other tile-sets they are a uncommon enemies.

Optional Art:  Working on it

Name Suggestion: Corpus Wrangler

Behavior: Will kite Tenno and fire off occasional rounds until either players get too close, or stop moving. Will then use moa steed to then cause shockwaves against players to knock them on their backs. If a player is on their back around the Wranglers, they will be tethered to and dragged around the map in a pseudo downed state, where they will only be able to use their secondary to attack. The player will take constant damage while being dragged and can only escape with the assitance of another player or by staggering or stunning the Wrangler dragging them.

Attacks:

Lanka Shot: The Wrangler fires 1-3 fast moving, powerful shots at target tenno. The Wrangler wil lstay at a moderate distance at this time nad will congregate with other wranglers until they have formed a group of 3-6

Charge: When in a group, the Wranglers will get into a charging formation and rush the players, knockcking them down if they are caught in the line of attack. Deals light damage.

Shockwave: The Moa Steed bends down slightly and leaps high into the air towards tenno, sending out four simultaneous shockwaves upon impact with the ground. The shockwaves deal light damage and knock down, but can be evaded through jumping.

Rodeo:  The Wrangler fires off an energy chain that immediately locks onto a pratfallen or stationary tenno and begins to drag them around the tile in a wide circle. The effect lasts for ten to fifteen seconds, dealing constant damage to the player. The player is put on their back and forced to use their secondary for the duration of the attack. The only means of premature escape is through either stunning or killing the Wrangler performing the Rodeo.

Environment restrictions:  The Wranglers can only spawn in groups equal to double the current session's player count and only in wide/open tilesets such as Corpus Hangars.

Name Suggestion: Corpus Trapper/Hunter (Don't really care about the name)

Behaviour: Very sneaky, they try to blend in or lure their prey in instead of attacking head on.  Using their laser net ability to either get distance from their target, or to close the gap on their prey.

Attacks: The trapper deploys a small fleet of micro ospreys which create a field of lasers, if the lasers detect their target upon impact the lasers constrict into an immobilizing 'net.'

Wield an iconic hunting weapon such as a shotgun or a bow, however this is problematic as the corpus have neither of those weapons in their arsenal so you'd have to make a weapon to go with them or use some placeholder.

Environment restrictions:  Appear anywhere. Up to DE.

Art:

8K8Lzjo.jpg

daHgFA6.jpg

I also think it would be cool if they had the shock camo pattern all over them, as they would want to be camouflaged as a trapper/hunter.

Name Suggestion: Annulus

BehaviorThe Annulus is a floating weapon platform designed to function as a heavy robotic combatant.  It tends to stay near Corpus Techs in order to enhance their firepower and to serve as a damage dealer.  Heavy shielding protects the prevailing edge of the platform, while attacks against its rear are more effective.  Annulus is capable of turning very rapidly to present an enemy with its heavily shielded side in order to protect the vulnerable rear.

Attacks: When closing, the Annulus uses an array of 6 energy rifles (similar to single deras) to provide a mass of fire to subdue the enemy.  When at closer range, it is able to fire a Bolo-type ensnaring device to slow a Tenno with a chance to knock them down.  It also utilizes a pair of energy shotguns are close range, similar to the Detron.

Environment restrictions:  Should be restricted to levels 15-30 or after 5 minutes in survival, 5 waves of defense.

Art:  None, because I don't want to get sued for causing blindess again.

Name Suggestion: Corpus Megalania

Behavior:  The Corpus Megalania, like it's namesake, scavenges the fallen to repair and enhance itself. It's found repairing MOA cabinets and other devices. Megalania are built as as speedy support units for the Corpus. They are quadrupedal, lizard-like proxies.

Attacks: Corpus Megalania units are built for support, but are perfectly capable of defending themselves. With build in rail guns on their backs and razor sharp claws and powerful jaws for melee attacks. Each time the Megalania scavenges, it heals itself as well and increases the range of the rail gun.

Environment restrictions:  They are only found on Corpus ships

Name Suggestion: EVA Crewman

Behaviour:  Crewman wielding a basic exosuit, and jetpack. He(she) stays behind the front lines, and repairs friendly crewman and proxies with a repair beam or a.o.e. (area of effect) pulse. If engaged on their own, they will fight with a Spectra. If engaged with friendlies nearby, they will retreat behind their teammates. In any situation, they will do their best to avoid enemy fire with their jetpack.

Attacks:

-Spectra pistol.

-Repair Beam or Repair a.o.e. pulse.

-possibly larger weapon on a shoulder mount

Environment restrictions:  Corpus ships or Corpus colonies. Any dangerous place Corpus might need repairs.

Name: Corpus Dame.

Behavior:

These Penta-toting ladies prefer to hang in the back of groups of crewmen. They posses armor at the cost of shield capacity, as a result they have a lower-than normal shield compared to their cohorts particularly their male counterpart: the Tech.

However they are no pushover, as this armor grants a (extra) slight-to-moderate resistance to blast damage (depending on the level). This damage resistance can be granted to the Dame's fellow crewmen in the form of an Aura not unlike Eximus enemies. These variations in Dames are known as "Resistance Dames" and will spawn in place of certain types of Eximus, as the only types of Eximus Dames will spawn in are Blitz and Guardian.

Dames are sometimes tasked with protecting more vital parts of an outpost or to protect support-oriented units as those with resistance auras provide much needed damage reduction.

These damage reduction Auras do not stack.

Attacks:

The main one is obviously their Pentas. These versions don't deal as much raw damage as those the Tenno run with, but they make up for it in fire rate and blast radius. there is a small chance for a blast proc to occur and thus knock enemies off their feet, Tenno included. Most of the time a stun occurs instead.

Within melee range, the attack a Dame performs will vary. Those that spawn as Blitz Eximus are self-explanatory, while normal, Resistance Dames, and Guardian Eximi alike will aim their Pentas at the ground in front of them and shoot, the ensuing blast will knock back any foe within arms' reach. If this fails, they will resort to a basic shove attack that has a higher than average chance to stagger.

Environment restrictions:

Any Corpus mission really. spawn rate is increased in invasions and boss maps however.

Art reference: whoops I knew I was forgetting something....

I guess I just wanted to try and stay a little on the simple side....

I'm enjoying seeing all these lady Corpus submissions though :D

Corpus Enemy Concept

Name suggestion: Gecko

BehaviorIt is a small quadrupedal corpus robot with large feet along with a pair of jets on it's back. It mainly runs on walls and ceilings, leaping between pillars, and the roof but sometimes going on the ground if it needs to. It uses it's jets to help it leap and it's large feet having microfibers to help it grip the walls like a Gecko. It's visually similar to a zanuka, but more simple (think of a midway between a zanuka and a moa) and not nearly as powerful. It has 4 limbs, a head, a tail, two jet-wings (like an osprey) on it's back, large feet and hands.

Attacks: It is melee focuses, leaping and slashing at the tenno but it also has the ability to shoot small balls of energy at the tenno. It's attacks would be a tackle, headbutt, slash, tailwhip, kick, and energy ball lob. It's main focus is to distract the tenno by it's agility though.

Environment restrictions:  It can only spawn in "Outside" corpus areas (The Gas City and the Ice base).

Name Suggestion: TRIO

Behavior

The TRIO is a three-legged robot proxy designed for close combat and is the Corpus' answer to the Tenno blade, as well as the Infested to some extent.

  • Has two front legs and one hind leg, capable of walking over other smaller Corpus/Grineer/Infested units and instantly changing direction without turning (head rotates).
  • Prefers to block doorways with its size. Tenno can attempt to slide under it but its hind leg can kick them back. Corpus units can freely pass under it.
  • Destroying a leg will cause that leg’s thigh plate to fold up against the TRIO’s body, staggering it and slowing down its movement by 33% per leg removed. Each leg removed will prompt a different attack from TRIO.
  • When all legs are gone, the TRIO deactivates and folds up into a capsule. If not destroyed during this time, it will self-repair for 10 seconds and reactivate with all three legs reattached.
  • TRIO is immune to knockdown, but succumbs to stagger.

Attacks:

Roundhouse Kick - TRIO will quickly rotate its body and use all 3 legs to kick a target, dealing Impact damage and causing knockback on the third kick. While rotating, its deals minor Slash damage to all enemies around it.

Double Kick - When TRIO has only 2 legs left, it will use its remaining legs to kick a target twice, dealing Impact damage and causing knockback on the second kick.

Headbutt - When TRIO has only 1 leg left, it will hop towards the target and slam against it, dealing Impact damage and guarantees knock back per hit.

Shock Absorbing Armor - Prevents stagger effects from Impact proc and melee attacks when the thigh plates are struck. Has a chance to reflect stagger onto melee attacker.

Environment restrictions:  Ground-level only. TRIO functions well in both confined and open spaces.
