Each bullet can proc only once... with with multishot you have a chance to proc more than once per ammo.

Viral procs beyond the first do nothing at all tho.

This is purely anecdotal but I seem to have observed health dropping sharply when multiple Viral procs occur at once.  Maybe they can stack if applied at the same time?  I was using a Torid with multishot and a hgh proc chance at the time.  It seemed to kill (old) Vay Hek much faster than it should, but it's possible his health was just low.

They used to stack. They don't anymore. U12 changed it, iirc. Grakata and Tysis Viral stacking was incredibly OP.

I'm aware; I made this observation shortly before the Vay Hek revamp, well after update 12 had launched.  That's why it intrigued me.

its a chance for 1 of those rounds to proc, the UI however near doubles up your status% stats when multishot is present so gives a somewhat untrue display of your real status% given that a "normal" 30% status% may show as something near double that when Split CHamber is fitted, but you dont really have that certain of a status%.
