Warframe - 21:9 Resolution Support?

I have a question about resolution and screen ratio in Warframe.

I’m want to buy a new screen with 21:9 ratio and resolution of 2560x1080.

Now my question. Its Warframe Supporting this resolution and ratio?

And I believe warframe doesn't support 1440p and only 1080p. And on topic the only ratios I seen are 4:3, 16:9 and I think 16:10.

I wish Warframe could run with 1440p image quality...no you can run the game under 2560x1440 resolution with display port 2 for example.

I could buy a whole PC that runs Warframe in 1080p for 500 dollars, and only because you think 1080p is not good enough... others either don't care or it's good enough for them.

 

Until this year, I have been playing in 1280x1024 resolution for about 6 years... Finally I have a fullHD monitor and I love it, I don't need bigger

What a worthless post, people always feel like they have to push their "superior" opinion on someone when all they want is a simple answer to their question.

Great that you chose to have a 2560x1440p monitor, but guess what, that's a 1.78:1 (16:9) aspect ratio panel, OP clearly stated he's getting a 2.34:1 (21:9) aspect ratio panel so your recommendation is already null and void before you even made it; next time just answer is question or don't post at all.

 

On topic, I can run warframe at 3840x1080 as long as it's in borderless windowed, so I'm guessing the game will run fine at 21:9 as well.

Warframe does support 1440p actually.

A 1440p monitor for less than $500 is actually a good deal. I was just recommending a value monitor.

If you haven't tried 1440p, then of course you have no idea that 1080p sucks in comparison.

It's dropped about $100 in price since February, its the same resolution and its a safer move because you don't have to deal with manufacturers from Korea. Plus ASUS is a reputable brand.

Actually, if you searched QNIX on that site, you'd see the QNIX is cheaper.

I've had my share of different monitors and resolutions. The QNIX I'm looking at right now is a great value at only around $370.

However it is possible to get to work.  I have a GTX670 and use GeForce Experience which enables it.  If you're using an ATi card there probably is a way, either if they have something similar or by editing the config file.  Don't exactly know to as I didn't need to myself.

I tried 1080p monitors and now I have a 1440p one. I made the recommendation for the OP's sake because I know just how better it is to have a higher vertical resolution than horizontal.

If OP wants to disregard my recommendation and go buy a 21:9 monitor, I'm FINE with that :p

Are you talking about a fullscreen resolution though? Have you tried borderless windowed and seen if it doesn't work natively? Because 3840x1080 works fine in borderless windowed which is a much higher aspect than 21:9.

Actually, for all we know, the OP might be pleasantly surprised with the 27" 1440p monitor I recommended that's priced at only around $370. That's something you don't know with 100% certainty without the OP's words.

Yes I do think I might have. Who knows for certain? Not you, not me. Zero relevance? The guy was asking around for a 1080p monitor and I told him he could get a 1440p monitor for around $370. Zero is a bit too harsh don't you think? :3

You can call me conceited all you want, but all I did was provide alternatives that I personally think are better.

It's what happens in forums. People don't directly answer the OP's questions if they feel others will do so anyway and you have things to say that have a possibility of benefiting the OP.
