[De] You Need To Have A Kick Button

    I'm tired of playing with scrubs. On the next update, you need to add a "kick player" button because unfortunately you got some hard headed gamers that like to troll around, and don't want to listen and follow directions(in the void lobby). I always have to back ALLLL the way out(from the void lobby), then send everybody an invite again just so I can get rid of 1 dude(in the void lobby). Fix this $%#!

you can set it to private or invite only. while yes I do think AFK people is a problem. If the person is new to the game/new to TPS then you cant blame them.

need. DE "needs" to do nothing. in fact, if they thought that Warframe was in a state that could not be improved, and released it, taking away the beta tag, we technically couldnt complain, because it is their game, that they are developing. While a kick feature could be added, and has certainly been one of the most requested additions that i have seen since I joined, I believe in a recent devstream they said that they are reluctant to add one because people could abuse it.

I'd rather take a screenshot of a leecher and report him via ticket. Or troll a door hero somehow. Or wait for DE to come up with system that'll autokick you if you afk too long, or penalize you somehow for being too far from your team.

I remember the dev talking about this problem. I think they were considering AFK timeouts, maybe with a warning prompt, as a last chance.

I don't mean in-game. I mean just in the lobby. I would be pissed as hell if someone did kick me while I was in the middle of a mission. Just in the void lobby missions.

Well, if it's in the lobby, then I have no problem with this. It couldn't be abused, because if somebody would kick me for nothing, then hey - I probably don't want to play with that guy whatsoever.

if there was a kick button it would be 100% worse because you would have those trolls that would kick you at the end so you don't get the rewards

A kick function in general would be horrible. You enter a Pluto lobby without changing your loadout. And then the host auto kicks you because of having a weak setup. No time to say you are changing your Loadout, and you just lost a possible lobby to play in.

Not doing what you want is not the same thing as trolling. I do understand where you're coming from, but when playing with people you do not know, you can not have expectation too much higher than: more or less going to try and complete the mission objective.

I can appreciate you wanting to do thing a certain way, things like long T3 survival and T3 defenses requier that tactical approche, but you shouldn't even try to do that in PUGs without a major amount of patience.

Ive seen too many exclude someone on the basis of their ranks/lvl/whatever in games before giving the person a chance to show what theyve got

 

Ive met quite a few impressive low rank players and id hate to see them get booted out at the lobby because someone didnt think they were up to the challenge

Blah. Downvote. Getting a kick button is bad. For void missions only the host can invite anyways. An AFK timeout with one warning would be nice though. But I play with my friends and we carry sometimes when the other's afk. Maybe AFK timeout with players voting to kick or not?

would do. Not an autokick, but not a vote-to-kick system either. If you're not idling they cannot kick you, if you're idling but it's ok with your team, they don't need to kick you out. Perfect solution.
